Yes, because you are actually changing the code in the car as well. The car gives the key FOB a new code every time you program it. All you other key FOBs won't open the door anymore.

My falcon won't unlock at all. Charged the car battery thinking it was dead flat but even after that, my physical key won't even work in the driver's door. Stumped for ideas. Is my issue similar to yours Nicholas?
programmed a new key remote for a BF falcon about a half hour ago and no alarms ect. so far so good. My experience is as follows. closed doors but unlocked. insert key with original remote and turned to first position auxiliary. Radio was off so only the time was displayed. Pressed rear demister three times in quick succession and the door locked. Pressed NEW remote lock and the door unlocked then locked again. Pressed lock on the ORIGINAL remote attached to the key in the ignition and the door unlocked then locked again. Turned the key to the off position and extracted the key. The door unlocked. I then pressed the lock and unlock on the new and original remote to see if they were trained and in sinc. Was successful. My product was from MAPARTS and their web page instructions and my experience only differed in the fact that when I pressed the LOCK buttons while training the remotes that the door unlocked then locked again. In their instructional video it stated that the door would only unlock. Check out their web page if you have the same product. Hope this helped
First click, position is "auxiliary" next is ignition and all tell-tails, lights on dash come on. Do this procedure with key in "auxiliary" position. No light on dash. All doors and tailgate/boot have to be shut properly.
Make the doors are "locked" by that do you mean locked? Or just closed... Does the actuation of the locks that we are looking for go from locked to unlock or the other way around? Still not having any luck. I think there is something wrong in my ICC. I can't get the rear demist or any of the vent control icons to change. Although after a while, the controls start to work. I'm also getting an annoying high pitch squeel through the audio system. Like some capacitor has fried somewhere that would normally be filtering out this noise in electronic system.
Guys any help would be appreciated. I did as mentioned. And once I hit the demist thrice I hear the locking mechanism but after that when I click either of the buttons on the remote it doesnt seem to program. It just stays blank.
Why did the horn sound off when you locked the car at the 2:50 mark ? Also if your remote battery was changed and the doors lock and unlock, but sometime the car wont start, what could be the problem, because its got a new battery and in both the remote and the car battery were changed at the same time ?
The horn sounded after hitting one of the buttons (nothing negative) - as for the car not starting that could be a variety of reasons - starter motor could nearing the end, spark plugs, coils, fuel not getting through

I'm trying to program a new flip out key for my territory however when I add the 2nd key, the security stops the fuel pump from going on. Any idea what is going on?
@@acmelbourne yep, manage to get the original 2 keys that came with the car, but as soon as I try adding the 3rd new key that o ordered o line and had cut, it doesn't disarm the security measures and stops the fuel pump from turning on
@@ActuallyGoose There might be a limit as too how many keys that can be programed, ring the manufacturer explain to them they might have some advice - other than that, try a professional.
All you need to do is turn the ignition on and press the rear demist button 3 times within 5 seconds of turning the key NOT turn the key, scratch ya bum, then press the button 3 times in 5 seconds. The emphasis should be on how quickly you begin pressing the demister button after turning the key. I hope this makes sense?

The bottom of the icc has the Body Control Module (computer) and is either yellow, blue or red. Keep the original BCM in your car and it will start. To make the radio work press menu and plus buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds
Is there all there is to it? There's no need for a computer to program anything? Theres a seller on Ebay called KeysRemotes Brisbane saying they charge 150 to cut and program a key but they say to do these exact steps after I receive the cut and programmed key. Is that just a waste of money?

Nah! never heard of it before have you tried reprograming the key.

It locks then unlocks a light flash with the horn twice
