I had the two keys to my Mazda 6 MPS without central locking function, following your advice step by step I have managed to solve the problem. Thank you very much for your help.
Thank u for the videos I have a mazda mx5 .got the new kit to fix my old one it didn't work till I watched ur video and found a transponder that I had to move . Thank u saved me 250.00 pounds for new key .keep up the good work 👏
Thanks fella I tried to program my 2008 keys but I was doing it separately and it was stealing the code from the first key I programed. So only one key would program at a time. Doing it your way now I have both keys done. Again thanks for your vid..
Does this same procedure work for a 2008 Mazda mx5? As I’ve replaced batteries in fob but when pressing button the light flashes red so presume I need to reprogram to car. Thanks.
Thanks for the video... I've searched on forums and everywhere... seems everyone who has a 2006 Mazda 6 has a problem at the same step... the infamous STEP7, press any button on the remote 2 times... nothing happens... when you take the key out of the ignition, the car does its final lock/unlock auto procedure, but the remotes do not register w/ the car... The 2 remotes are original remotes w/ switchblade type key... I had a spare kept at home and my son had the car at school... battery died and he didn't replace it for a few weeks. My fob battery also died at home. He can use the keys manually, but after we replace both remote batteries, the car does not respond to any presses of remote buttons. The lights come on fine w/ new batteries on both remotes. I can go through the whole procedure of turning key 3 times and opening, closing door 3 times, the car responds throughout, until the step where it says press any remote button 2 times... nothing... it seems everyone w/ an 06 has this issue and I haven't found a resolution. I'm sure the remotes are fine. Its something w/ the receiver/car programming side that is causing the issue... As the car is quite old, not really looking to spend several hundred dollars from the dealer just to have remote unlock capabilities... especially as I don't use it myself... ;o)
"Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open. Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver’s door using the power door lock switch on the door. Step 3: Insert key into the ignition. Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition. Step 5: Open and close the driver’s door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step). Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors. Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors. Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) twice. Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors. Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks This is what I had to do to get mine to work. I had to unlock and lock my doors first then i was able to program my key.
Thanks for this excellent video. I took the main starter battery out of my car for charging and when I put it back in the keys weren't being recognised by the car when trying to start it. I was selling my car and really needed to sort this problem out.. it worked brilliantly on my 2011 model Mazda 6. You are a legend!!
I have a good question. I bought a key fob of amazon .I changed the guts from my old one to it and changed the key to mine .can the chip be coded to my car cause I don't have the either half to my car so I can't change the chip
Thanks for the video. Recently both of my keyfobs stopped working for my 2007 Mazda 6 (GG/GY). If I close the driver's door physically with the key - it locks and unlocks all the doors fine, but NOT from the remote. I tried getting into the programming mode as suggested in the video, but the car refuses to do so - no door lock cycle clicking, no response whatsoever. Silence. I tried both of my keys - no avail. Door locks also work fine from the inside (using the button on the driver's door) as well. Any suggestions of what could be wrong with it? Thank you
@@TheCarKeyMan Hi. Thank you for replying. Absolutely. It broke down last week. The last thing I remember about it - it UNLOCKED properly with the remote .. and then nothing. I could not get it to lock via remote ever since. I could close it with the key - the alarm would arm itself as well, but then when I unlocked the driver's door with the key, it would unlock the door, but would NOT disarm the alarm. So it went off ... I disabled the alarm for now (luckily it can be turned off) until I fix the main issue. I tried many things now: synching keys, tried going into programming mode (like in your video) - but it refuses to do so ... Not sure what to do next. If that gives any more intel, the alarm system itself is an aftermarket one - Gemel. It was installed by a local Mazda dealer back in 2007 because it was obligatory by law for all the new cars sold to be equipped with one (for insurance and etc)
Great video, unfortunately it didn't work on my 05 mazda 3. I only have 1 key and recently changed the battery on the key fob. Since then it worked fine fkr one day and then nothing, I'm only getting a flashing red light on the key fob every time i press a button(only flashes once). Do you have any advice ?
Hi so I bought my car around 2 years ago and it only came with the regular key which I have to use it to open the door and turn on the engine. is that mean i can buy those kind the key fobs from Amazon and use the method from the video to programme the remote key for my 2012 Mazda 6 so that i can use the key fobs to open my car door but I still need to use the key from the dealership to turn on the engine? I just want to make the remote key to open my car door so that I don't have to use the regular key to open the door and turn the engine on.
@@jasonfangliang3199 just buy a PRE PROGRAMMED remote for your car and connect it using this procedure. However you won't have a transponder chip in it so it will not start the car.
Yes I just want to use it to open the car door and then I can use another key to turn on the engine. So those key fobs can be found from Amazon right?@@armandblake
Hi, this video shows how to programme the buttons on the key and so yes, it will work if neither start the car. However, you still need to code in the transponder chip so the car starts. This video is aimed at the situation where the key used to operate the remote central locking, but has stopped because of a key battery problem. Hope that makes sense
Hi, great to see your video helping so many people. I changed the batteries on one of my original Mazda 6 (2010) keys and tried to reprogram using your method but it didn't work. I swapped the batteries on the keys and now both keys have stopped working. I have tried the procedure you describe many times, everything happens as stated, but at the last step, pressing the button on the key while it is in the ignition gives no response from car the locking system. Given that both key were working fine just a few days ago, can removing the batteries from the key mess up the transponder? Is there any way of checking if the transponder needs reprogramming? Mazda want £85 +vat, plus more if it takes more than an hour. Surely owners shouldn't need to have their keys reprogrammed if they simply change the battery...? Appreciate any suggestions you can give.
Hello, this is a bit odd! OK, so starting from the beginning, just to clear something up and to help everyone. The transponder in the key lets the car start. When you ask 'can removing the batteries mess up the transponder'? Can I just check, does the car still start?
Yes, the locks click after shutting and opening the driver door 3 times, and again when I take the key out of the ignition. But not when I click the button on the key fob.
Just tried again: Open door, ignition on/off 3 times, shut/open door 3 times. After this I hear 2 clicks of the locking mechanism. Press the button(s) on the key fob, nothing happens. If I now turn the ignition on or shut the door, there are 4 clicks of the locking mechanism (coming out of programming mode?).
@@TheCarKeyMan no it's different one 4 button's it's on ebay it is supposed to be for a Mazda 6 year 2005 and up I'm just trying to find out The right way to set it up first
Hi. I have a Mazda Miata / Mx5 NC . The key fob is very similar. The remote locking works very occasionally and only when I am standing very close to the car. I have replaced the battery but no difference. The key still lights up when pressed. Any ideas?
Hi Yousuf. The only problems we see is when very cheap batteries have been used, so as long as you have put a branded one in, then sorry, I don't know what it may be
I have a 2010 Mazda 6 and the battery needs replacing as the only way to unlock/ lock the car is to do it manually. It's been dead for a few weeks now. Once I replace the battery I take it I'll have to perform this procedure. Do you know if it'll work on my model?
Hi there and thanks for the instructional video. I have changed the water damaged BCM in my Mazda 6 2010 car with a used/second hand one with exact same specs and I can get the car in and out programmering mode using your method. However, having new batteries in the remote controls (and they even light up when pressing) I still get no response from the car when trying to pair them. So my question is - does the replaced BCM have some information about keys from the old car it used to be placed in - information that needs to be wiped before the BCM can accept new keys? Or should I totally drain the car from electricity by removing the car battery away from the car- and short circuit two wires in the car that were attached to the car battery?
Hello, so I bought a used Mazda 3 2010 and it only came with the key. I want to add the remote, could I buy a remote with uncut key and program it myself and take the key to the lock smith to get it cut or should I take the safe way and contact Mazda??
Ok, so there are two parts of the key that need coding in. The buttons are done by the method shown in the video, so you could do that yourself. However inside the part with the key blade is a transponder chip and this needs to be introduced to the car. The choices are the dealer, or a good Auto Locksmith. As for the parts, the choices are to get a new key from the dealer, or get your own of ebay and get someone to cut and code it. The only problem you may have is that some companies won't touch a key from eBay, so just check first. I hope that helps
Hi, I have an existing key for my 2010 MX5 and had to replace my spare key as the inards were broken. I bought an old key off Ebay and replaced the blade with mine. Do you think this procedure would work to programme my new spare (which was for a different Mazda) and does this actually programme the keys as opposed to the car? What I mean is would my existing good key no longer work on the car after I programme the replacement one? Thanks
Hi Tony, great question. Well it's really simple to be honest. In order for the key to programme to the car, it has to be the correct part number. Many of the Mazda keys look the same, but the part numbersr are wrong. Once you get the car into programming mode, correct keys with good batteries will synch into the car. So if it codes up you know it's suitable. You can't really go wrong here as long as you re-synch the keys
Hi, I have a problem with my 2007 Mazda 6. It used to lock all the doors when I turned the key to the ON position, but now it stops working. The car was not used for 1 month and the battery died, after this happened, change the battery and the problem continues. The key works fine and so does the alarm, but this function does not. Can you give me a hand on this? Anything I can do to fix it? Thank you very much for your time, God bless you!
@@TheCarKeyMan Unfortunately it didn't work. However, I believe the issue is with the central locking fob, not with the procedure. Thanks for the instructional video.
Hi, I have a 2011 Mazda 6 TS2. My central locking stopped working and I've been through this procedure and reprogrammed both keys. I got both keys to work fine until I next went somewhere in the car, then it didn't work again! To confuse the issue further, very occasionally it does work! I'm baffled. Any suggestions?? Cheers, Pete.
Hi Peter. There sounds like there is one of two things happening. Either you have an issue with the car, or by some strange happening, both keys are playing up. How long have you had the car? Have you changed the key batteries with decent batteries?
Hello - I only have one key and I dropped weights on the key. So it's not transmitting anymore (The chips might be crushed/damaged). So if I buy a replacement key - will it work with just one key for the procedure to work. BTW my car is a Mazda 6 2008.
The immobiliser is not controlled by the buttons. It is controlled by a small micro chip near the blade. If the car starts then the immobilser chip is ok. You just need to buy half of the key ( the half with buttons ) and programme it in using the video
I have flashing anti theft icon on Mazda 3. can use the buttons from my car key [to lock / unlock the car] but the engine wont start because of the anti theft symbol. Will this help?
HI, no this programming is for the buttons, not the chip. Has something happened to the key? It's very unusual that the chips go faulty, we've not seen it in 15 years
Hi I’ve got the same problem on my 2010 Mazda 3 (same keyfob as in the video). I can unlock the car, turn on ignition but it will not start, not even turnover. What is strange that it first happened a few days ago, but it worked again when I locked and unlocked the car. Since then it started to happen more often, resulting in it being a miracle if it does start. Nothing really happened to both keys. Just replaced the batteries, it then seemed to work again but this morning no luck and couldn’t start. I hope you’ve got some tips!
Hi I tried to reprogram 2007 Mazda 6 key, but it doesn't work. Key stopped working after Changing battery in fob. Key fob is sending or signal as tested this. All fuses ok. Central locking works with internal buttons....stumped...any ideas, would the fob signal receiver be blown. Really appreciate any advice
Hi Steve, Tried this on my wifes 2009 Mazda 2. Doesnt seem to want to go into lock cycle mode after the shutting the door 3 time part. All happened after a flattened car battery. Any ideas? Same on both key fobs.
Hi Steve@@TheCarKeyMan All sorted. The car battary seemed to be the main issue. The garage fully charged it up and one fob was re-programmed using your plan and I did thje second fob using the same plan later that day. So it seems to work across the Mazda range.
Ah that makes sense. I’d forgotten about the car battery. Often if I have trouble, I run the car for 5 mins before and then immediately try and code it, which normally sorts it
@@TheCarKeyMan Programming is good, but my car don't remmeber keys. Its good for a few hours. Battery was change. Thanks for film - a lot of another doesn't Works.
Hi, when the remotes are coded in, they all need to be present once the car is in programming mode. So you need to get the car ready to accept the remotes and then show it any you want to work. So in your case, you need to code in both remotes back in. Does that makes sense?
Good day guys, please i've got a mazda6 smart key which programs using autel im508 but the key remains zero while smart key is 2, ignition comes on now but key light blinks and the car does not start, please is there anything i can do to program the proximity key so the car could start?

Hi, I replaced the battery after watching your video for that. Nothing happened with the key after so I'm trying to programme it. I've done as you said, but once I've done the door shutting and opening bit I hear the locks cycle, but then nothing happens when I push the button twice. I tried to turn it on and off in the ignition then and the locks cycle again, but then once I take the key out it still doesn't work. Any idea why or what I need to do differently? Steps I performed: sat in car with door open, turned key on/off in ignition three times, shut and opened door three times, I then heard locks cycle, pushed button on key that's in the ignition twice - nothing happened, so tried turning key in ignition on and off, heard locks cycle again. But it doesn't work :( I just have the one remote key. I've tried it a number of times and it's the same every time. Thanks
My car won’t cycle the locks after closing and opening the door 3 times (ending in open position) I’ve tried this multiple times. Any suggestions? I’m also not using the “master key” I’m using a transponder/valet key (purchased car on Craigslist). Need help!

Hi there! I got my remote to be programmed to my car but was not able to start the car with said remote and key. I put the key in the ignition and try to start the car but the engine won’t even click. What should I do? Thanks
Hi Danny, is it a key that's never been coded to your car? If so, this video only covers the key key buttons. For the car to start you need to have the immobiliser chip programmed, using a computer
hi this worked brilliantly on my key for that was being tempremental, i have another key at home and it starts the car with no problems, it just doesnt unlock the doors, but no light flashed either when pressing the unlock or lock buttons, will this programming trick sort it?
i did this and it did not work. the car does enter program mode but the remotes are not programming. the remote batteries are new. must i now take it to the dealer?
Hello Packrcch, if the car enters programming mode, you are doing the correct thing. In fact you are doing what Mazda will want to charge you for. So before you spend all that money wait up. Have you got someone local who can check out the keys for you? It may be that for some reason the keys are not transmitting, so the car cannot hear the keys. I recommend finding a good auto locksmith who will be able to help you

I only have one remote for my 2009 SL and this works 100%. I bought a brand new remote online and was wondering how to programme it. As my car has keylss start, there no way I can follow the procedure you describe by putting the key in the ignition, as I understand a keyless start enable car doesnt have a traditional ignition barrel so I can insert a key and turn it on and off three time. I was wondering if there was a method e.g. using the push button start instead to enter programming mode for my second remote?
f it helps, it's the only smart key that Mazda issued for combined keyless entry start. I guess this must require a device bought online or a dealer to perform the job.

Hi Nicolas, thanks for the question. Unfortunately no. This is why. There are two parts of the key that need coding in. The buttons are done by the method shown in the video, so you could do that yourself. However inside the part with the key blade is a transponder chip and this needs to be introduced to the car, using a diagnostic tool. This makes sense, othewise people would be getting keys cut and then stealing cars! The choices are the dealer, or a good Auto Locksmith. As for the parts, the choices are to get a new key from the dealer, or get your own of ebay and get someone to cut and code it. The only problem you may have is that some companies won't touch a key from eBay, so just check first. I hope that helps
Hi. I have got mazda 3 2007. i am trying to programming my keys but unfortunality, its not working. step 1: key on/off 3 times step 2: opening the driver side door and closing the door 3 times. After that door must be lock and unlock. but its not working When i close the door or remove the key, its time door locking and unlocking byself. Where i am doing wrong?
I do the following: 1) open driver door; 2) insert one of the keys in the steering lock; 3) moving the key on position on/lock 3 times; 4) open and close the driver door 3 times and leaving it open. After that according to the instructions of the video which I have watched the doors must lock and unlock by themselves (alone) but this does not happen. And whne u close the driver door or remove the key from the steering lock then I can hear all doors lock and unlock by themselves. The result is that the keys does not work. I have checked both keys with device whether they give signal or not. The devise shows that both keys give signal. But still they cannot be programmed to lock and unlock the car.
Thanks for your video though it doesn't work for my Mazda 6 2008. I have tried many times however it just cannot enter the programming mode. There 's no button on the door to lock and unlock the doors. The only switch to lock doors from inside is above the handle which doesn't operate when the door is open. I followed the steps, and after I close and open the door 3 times, nothing happened. No response.
I believe so. I haven't had chance to try it lately, can you try it and let us know please? The good thing about the procedure is that if you don't do it correctly, you won't mess anything up. The car will still start ok, so you can just have a go :)
Hello there, I'm in the process of finding out. There are 2-3 different proceedures and they all work, but I don't have a list at hand. The good news is that if you have a go and the car doesn't respond by going into 'programming mode', then you won't mess anything up. There's no downside don't worry. If you get it to work can you let us know please? Thanks
Hi, has your issue resolved as I am also facing issues with my 2011 which won't start and the immobilizer light is blinking...can I have some advise? Did you manage to get the procedures?
Hello. I followed this procedure and I managed to complete all the steps but when I try to open trunk there is no response. I searched thru forums and I tried to hold it for a bit, also I checked If glove box switch is on. My key is Visteon 41522 and car is 2005 Mazda RX-8.
Hi, if the other buttons work then the key is programmed ok. The other reasons are that the trunk button on the key is faulty, which would be unusual. Do you have a local key shop that can test the key to see if it transmits? Or maybe there is a fault with the car itself. Do you have a button inside the car to release the trunk?
Yes, there is a button inside a car that lets me open the trunk and it works. I have a key shop down in town and I think they could test it, but while I was programming this key fob I pushed each of three button two times and there was always a positive response from the car (including trunk button) so I resume it transmits a signal. I wonder if maybe possibly it is a case with wrong key fob model? I was considering it before because my third button (that should open trunk) has a different badge than most of key fobs I saw on internet. It doesnt show the opened trunk but a car with a strange signal-like symbol (I can provide a picture if its needed). I asked about that a guy that I bought key from but he told me that all of those Mazda three button keys works just same, and its no difference what symbol is placed on third button.
I followed these steps and no lock. Checked the car fuses and all fine . Both keys just stopped working. Locking system did go nuts one day where it kept locking me in the car. Any idea on this please ?
Hi Grant. Unfortunately we're not Auto Electricians, I wish we were sometimes. I would say get the keys checked to make sure they are transmitting first. Does the car go into programming mode?
Greets buddy. 2011 mazda 6. Central locking ok when using key. Keyfob not working. New battery in both keys. It won't go into program mode. Followed steps but when the third door bit done there is no sound or indication of locks cycling. Pulling my hair out.

Does this same procedure work for a 2008 Mazda mx5? As I’ve replaced batteries in fob but when pressing button the light flashes red so presume I need to reprogram to car. Thanks.
Hi, there are several methods to programme the buttons on Mazda cars, have you tried this method?
As the car is quite old, not really looking to spend several hundred dollars from the dealer just to have remote unlock capabilities... especially as I don't use it myself... ;o)
Hi, yes we've seen this every now and then. Maybe there is a different method? Not sure what it can be though sorry

Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks
This is what I had to do to get mine to work. I had to unlock and lock my doors first then i was able to program my key.

Thanks for this excellent video. I took the main starter battery out of my car for charging and when I put it back in the keys weren't being recognised by the car when trying to start it. Hi, Thanks for the video, I like to ask you if this will work on the Mazda Demio 2014 ?. Regards
Hi Belti, sorry for the delay in replying. Did it work?
Hi. Tanks for your reply, I asked you so that if it works with the Demio 2014 I will buy a blank key and program it myself. Regards
Thank you
Hi Dmitri, tricky one. Did it used to work ok?
@@TheCarKeyMan
Hi.
Hi where do you get this key? I can only find the one with 2 button or 3 but then the alarm button is missing
Thanks in advance
Hi, the easiest place is the dealer, as you'll get the correct part, but i'm sure they will be the most expensive
My key fob is now working for locking and unlocking the car, however it will not start the car. Any advice? I know I’m a while late
Hi, have you swapped anything over? The thing that starts the car is a chip near the blade. The buttons will not stop the car starting
Steve, does this programming allow the new key to start the vehicle?
Hi, no this is only for the key remote buttons. The chip inside needs to be programmed using software
@@TheCarKeyMan Thank you, Steve for responding so promptly.
Mate... I watched many videos failing to program. I did the procedure same time while watching you doing it and it worked! Many thanks!!!
@@jasonfangliang3199 Depends on your country, eBay they have it for sure. Make sure year and model are correct, that can really make the difference
Great advice, the only tricky bit cab be getting the correct remote as you say.
Would this work even if both keys arent programmed or only one?

Thanks for your reply. No problems using the keys to start the car. Maybe I'm doing something wrong in the programming sequence...
Do the locks cycle the first time to tell you you are in programming mode?
Yes, the locks click after shutting and opening the driver door 3 times, and again when I take the key out of the ignition. But not when I click the button on the key fob.
Just tried again: Open door, ignition on/off 3 times, shut/open door 3 times. After this I hear 2 clicks of the locking mechanism. Press the button(s) on the key fob, nothing happens. If I now turn the ignition on or shut the door, there are 4 clicks of the locking mechanism (coming out of programming mode?).
My 2011 Mazda 6 does not have the ignition switch to put key in and turn, mine just has the push start button, any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi Manny, then a new key needs to be coded in with a computer I'm afraid
Thank you. appreciate your reply.

Hi Scott, I think we spoke today. Did it work?

Does it need to be pressed twice, or pressed and held down for a few seconds? They do this to stop you accidentally opening the boot

The led lights on when pressing the button, so i guess the remote is sending the signal properly

Hello, so I bought a used Mazda 3 2010 and it only came with the key. I want to add the remote, could I buy a remote with uncut key and program it myself and take the key to the lock smith to get it cut or should I take the safe way and contact Mazda??
Hello and thanks for the question. So to be clear, how many keys do you have that start the car?
Just 1
Ok, so there are two parts of the key that need coding in.
You can't really go wrong here as long as you re-synch the keys
and your old key should still work, it will just code it when the car goes into programming mode
Hi, when you press the key buttons, do the lights flash?
@@TheCarKeyMan Hi, yes it does. What do you think? Thanks for answering!
Is this the same procedure for a 2004 Mazda 3?
Not sure to be honest, but give it a go. The worst case is that it just won't work
@@TheCarKeyMan Unfortunately it didn't work.
Cheers,

Hello Aneesh. Does the car still start and drive?
The Car Key Man yea it does. Ut the remote doesn't work. I can use the key to open the car and start/drive.
That makes it simple. You just need half the key, they button part. Then programme the remote in and you will be ok
The Car Key Man Amazing. But the immobiliser needs to be coded using some specific tools right?
The immobiliser is not controlled by the buttons. It is controlled by a small micro chip near the blade. If the car starts then the immobilser chip is ok. You just need to buy half of the key ( the half with buttons ) and programme it in using the video
I have flashing anti theft icon on Mazda 3. can use the buttons from my car key [to lock / unlock the car] but the engine wont start because of the anti theft symbol. Will this help?

Hi Nicolas, thanks for the question. Unfortunately no. This is why.
There are two parts of the key that need coding in. The buttons
are done by the method shown in the video, so you could do that
yourself. However inside the part with the key blade is a transponder
chip and this needs to be introduced to the car, using a diagnostic tool. This makes sense, othewise people would be getting keys cut and then stealing cars!
The choices are the dealer, or a good Auto Locksmith.
As for the parts, the choices are to get a new key from the dealer, or
get your own of ebay and get someone to cut and code it. The only
problem you may have is that some companies won't touch a key from eBay,
so just check first. I hope that helps
Thank you very much!! it worked perfectly!
That's great Vajda, glad it helped :)
Hi. I have got mazda 3 2007. i am trying to programming my keys but unfortunality, its not working.
step 1: key on/off 3 times
step 2: opening the driver side door and closing the door 3 times.
After that door must be lock and unlock. but its not working
When i close the door or remove the key, its time door locking and unlocking byself.
Where i am doing wrong?
HI, do you have a key that works the central locking already? Are you trying to programme a second key?
both are not working.
Okay, so are you starting with the drivers door open?
I will see if there are any other instructions and get back to you
Do I have to have 2 Keys for this? Does it work without the original chip?
Hi Callum, no, you can do this with just one key
Thanks for your video though it doesn't work for my Mazda 6 2008. I have tried many times however it just cannot enter the programming mode. There 's no button on the door to lock and unlock the doors. The only switch to lock doors from inside is above the handle which doesn't operate when the door is open. I followed the steps, and after I close and open the door 3 times, nothing happened. No response.
Do you have a solution? I have same problem
Excellent 👏👏👏👏
Thank You :)
Hello, would this method work for 2009 Mazda6?
I believe so. I haven't had chance to try it lately, can you try it and let us know please? The good thing about the procedure is that if you don't do it correctly, you won't mess anything up. The car will still start ok, so you can just have a go :)
Hello I brought an 2008 mazda 6 and when I try to lock the car the alarm goes off by it self. Is there any tips of how to fix the alarm
Hi, does it go off randomly?
When I try to lock the car that when it goes off so I have to use the key to lock it
It sounds like a door sensor is telling the car that it's still unlocked. Or you need to look at what would set the alarm off, like a bonnet switch.
Does this sequence work for a 2011 Mazda 3?
Hello there, I'm in the process of finding out. There are 2-3 different proceedures and they all work, but I don't have a list at hand. The good news is that if you have a go and the car doesn't respond by going into 'programming mode', then you won't mess anything up. There's no downside don't worry.
If you get it to work can you let us know please? Thanks
Hi, has your issue resolved as I am also facing issues with my 2011 which won't start and the immobilizer light is blinking...can I have some advise? Did you manage to get the procedures?
can you reset existing key or only new key on Mazda 3 sp23
Hi Patti, is it for the buttons or the immobiliser?
Hey is work for mazda 2 2009?
Hi Malik, I'm not sure, have you tried it?
@@TheCarKeyMan No, I don't tried
Hello. I followed this procedure and I managed to complete all the steps but when I try to open trunk there is no response. I searched thru forums and I tried to hold it for a bit, also I checked If glove box switch is on. My key is Visteon 41522 and car is 2005 Mazda RX-8.
Hello Laszek. Do the other buttons work ok?
Yes they do
Hi, if the other buttons work then the key is programmed ok.
Ok, i think that symbol is one to kill the alarm...but a photo may help. Is it a UK vehicle?
Hi Piers
It may be a different method, I'll have a look and try and post it here
@@TheCarKeyMan sorry to be a pain
