One of the best explanations of the installation I've seen! One of the only complaints I've seen is that the white backup lights are a lot dimmer with the GTS style, do you find that to be the case?

can you list the parts for the swivel ratchet to get that hidden nut out easy...I'm struggling to gain access to it and can't find the right size and kit to get it done.. thanks
Swivel adapter for the ratchet can be purchased any auto parts store. Mine is Kobalt brand from Lowe’s. It came in a pack of multiple swivel sizes and extensions. And then I used an 8mm socket for the nut.

as I was installing the water tight grammet that goes behind the taillights, it fell to the ground and I lost it. Do you know what they are called so I can get them replaced. It was the black clip behind the taillights in 16:00
Unfortunately, I do not know what that part is called. I bet you could probably find it on a BMW parts website with a diagram. You'll have to do some digging. I would not leave that hole exposed in the meantime - maybe some tape or something to keep water out.
@@accelerated_motion I covered that hole with electric tape on both sides, I’m hoping that should block off any water from getting in, I’m not sure how you were able to install that rubber grammet piece with the wire in the hole. I was Afraid I would damage the wire
@@kingdomkon4906 The wire is thin enough and flexible enough that it still passed through the hole, even with the grommet. No issues.
Hi, I noticed in more recent videos that the original tail lights are on the car. Did you take the GTS tail lights off?
Nope! I still have the GTS taillights on the car. I just made the taillight install video live before some of my other videos. After I installed the GTS tails, they've been on the car ever since.
Thanks. I made an attempt I have the exact same car you do but mine is a 23 I could not seem to get the inner tail light to be flush and sit right and the screw was shorter than the OEM so I could not get it to catch and tighten.
