The black threaded piece does not screw up into the frame or anything. Its flat on that side so it just sits on the frame. Thats why if you add some drops of super glue, and spin it for a bit, the glue will seep in, dry, and then keeps it from spinning against the frame. Good to know about the 3/8" socket on bottom though!

@@accelerated_motion They're actually the reason I have a BMW. I do all their glass work , I've been in their warehouse where they store all the rare cars and like I said I work on a lot of them . I've always been a big GM guy with corvettes and things like that but after being around them I've converted lol

I actually really love the xdrive comp auto. I was afraid that it would be boring, but its such a precise transmission, lighting quick, and the car with stock power is pretty good. So I have not been bored at all. I think the g80 was made to be auto AWD. With stock power levels, it feels faster than my 720+WHP manual g80, its crazy.

Without lowering the car, I would go 15mm all around. I think it gives it a nice thick stance. You could also do 15mm front and 13mm rear if you want a tad bit more clearance in the back but I think 15mm all around works well.

You do realize that shipping cost, time/labor is all factored into the price, right? Of course itll be cheaper in euros when you're thousands of miles closer than anyone in the US.

The point for Euro Performance Center where they could really shine would be to offer full end-to-end service, meaning coming directly to the customer, taking out DME, sending it, and after unlock installing it back into the car (plus organizing a replacement car as an option). They could charge more and unlock a lot of tech unsavvy customers that are super scared to take out their DME from the car and install it back.

@@motionless333 it’s reduced. Unfortunately with turbocharged cars, and in my experience with BMWs over the years, the drone will never be completely removed with an aftermarket setup. Also, everybody has a different tolerance for drone.

Good question - I am not sure to be honest. It is pretty thin so I will likely upgrade to something thicker as our baby continues to grow and weighs more. I dont think my current one will prevent any indentations.

Only a tad stiffer than stock. I think this combination is perfect for a daily driver car. Highly recommend. Very pleased.

@@accelerated_motion I have the pro kit eibach lowering springs and their shocks and struts. I’m lowered 1.2 in the front 1.4 in the back and over bumps it rides really really bad but smooth roads and dips in the Road it rides better than stock so I’m kind of OK with it but I just want a better ride quality I’m a 59-year-old hot roder I will always have a hot rod and a low car… but it’s got to be a way to lower your car, even 2 inches and still keep a good ride quality the same stock. The reason I said that, 29 years ago, I lowered my 91 Acura legend and I didn’t know that them clowns lowered it by clamping the springs down 2 1/2 inches lower and My Car actually road better than stock I know that sounds crazy, but it did and way better than theseLowering Springs and their shocks and struts. So they did it the street way on my car, and my car rode better than it did before I lowered it so again I say there’s got to be a way for us hot rodders to lower our cars and have a good ride quality when your car is low. You know you’re gonna scrape once in a while thats the life. And you car looks good homie

As the video mentions, there are several factors as to why I sold the blue G80. Sciatic nerve pain in my back (hard to operate the clutch), resale value on the manual G80 isnt as good as the xdrive comp. and I dont keep cars very long, desire to run 9's and can only achieve this with an Xdrive comp. (easily).

Nope, not at all.

Stiffer than stock, but still comfortable. I have heard that H&R Super Sports (red) are a rough ride. I have ran H&R Sport (blue) springs in the past on multiple cars, and they were great. Not a super aggressive drop compared to the Super Sports, but I like a balance of comfort and low.

It will operate like OEM but I think that you can program it to remember settings. Never tried to play around with that though.
