I just did this conversion on my G42. I bought the yellow drl from Aliexpress for $120. Whats interesting is they were packaged identical to the ones in your video 🤔

When headlights were orange back in the day, everyone bought halogen and LED lights. Now that you have LEDs, lasers, and halogens, people want orange lights again. I guess the good old chrome will come back soon as well after the cars comes with fiberglass packet from factory.
How long would you say the life of the lights are? Are they as good as oem?

Bought my first BMW a few days ago. I'm new to all the terminology. I have a 22 M4 Competition Convertible. I believe this designates it as the G83 M4. Most places, including Lightwerkz say the CSL lights are only for G82. Is there any difference between a G82 and a 2022 M4 Competition Convertible? Sadly, this one doesnt have the laser lights on it. I love these lights, it will be my first upgrade. Thank you!
Congrats! And yes g83 is the chassis code for the vert.
Same lights across all trim levels. You still have the led lights but not the laser. But yes, you can still get the yellow drl’s.

I ordered these and mine didnt come from bayoptics. It says JIAYI . On them which seems to be some chinese aliexpress manufacture... did lightwerkz send me some bs?
I would reach out to Lightwerkz and show them a picture of what you received.
@@Scoobyfreak86 it seems on their site now they are showing that it comes from JIAYI. With the pics they show. When I ordered those pics weren't there. Weird. U think I should just return it and buy from another website not using China stuff.
