- Call of Duty: Vanguard has now been out for a full week so it's time for me to share my thoughts, opinions, and feedback based on my experience with the game so far. What do you think of Vanguard after 1 week?

MVP screen is where the most player interaction happens but it's wasted with disbanding lobbies. It would potentially be fun for the salt from the vote to carry over.

I like the lobby voting but they needed more default animations or not added it till mtx come out
MVP takes too long, if the game is almost done I’m out and joining a new lobby.
In order to make scorestreaks appealing enough to make a noticeable difference in objective modes, the score bonus for playing the objective would have to be significantly greater than kills.
That's why point streaks was the best imo a flag cap was equal to a kill. I loved domination in MW3 for that I would slay and cap all day.

Playing the objective should pay atleast twice a kill, as a bare minimum!
its usually 200 for a objective play. maybe 100 for a dom capture.
You get 10 points per second in patrol which can easily put objective players at the top of the scoreboard, but there is no reason to sit out in the open and play the objective just to die to people farming kills.

Packet burst is my biggest problem. Can't wait for them to roll out some more patches to fix the connection issues.
same here, and so do all of my boys. personally while general connection feels good, i have almost constant packet bursts in some matches, which sometimes makes it not even worth trying.

Same here. If you're playing on PC (Idk if this option is on console) turn off streaming textures. It still happens but it's less frequent
I guess it's already patched buddy, yesterday in night the update came out (2 GB) and now i can finally play the game without fricking packet burst

Would really like to see factions in Vanguard’s MP just like in World at War.
The fact that it doesn't have factions is kinda concerning

Unfortunately true factions from the CoD4-BO2 days will never return most likely due to operator bundles. I really miss the unique faction music at the start of matches.

For spawn issues I've been having the opposite issue friend, where spawns will NOT flip or spawn you near an enemy when there is no reason to do that. They are messed up badly on both ends.
It’s like spawns are completely randomized after players are even slightly spread out across the map
Spawns are pretty difficult to get perfect, its just one of those things that takes time
If u have a bombing run called on one side on der haus, spawns will literally never flip until the bombing run is over
When both teams sit in their spawn and snipe all game that’ll happen. Makes rushing around with an SMG on the bigger maps a chore sometimes

I think the MVP screen is a decently cool idea. They could just make it to where all 3 MvPs show their animation right away instead of showing one at a time. Then they could also turn down how long you get to vote.
They should make it gamemode specific too. Like for SND/Dom it's a cool idea but the more killing focused modes should have the play of the game/final kill thing
It'd be cool if they were all surrounded with their backs to eachother and it just pans all around and does the snapshot like it already does, something to make it look less goofy when everyone has the same person and MVP animation of the headbutt

@@killuazoldyck6852 Also generally MVP is the player with most points at the end so anyone interested can check it from the scoreboard. The animations and texts look like they belong in a free to play game, so ugly and they add nothing
@@killuazoldyck6852 @Jonparelli how could would that be if there was an AI that can rate best plays in the game like having someone with a sniper get 5 straight kills in less than 30 sec or something or someone just getting a multikill - just shit that matters
One of my biggest complaints that I rarely see being talked about is the amount of other plans in the sky that aren't killstreaks. I'm working on my launcher camos ( which is already hard to destroy aerial killstreaks) but I also have to take time out to figure out if I'm shooting a spyplane or just a random plane.

Enemy recons don't even appear on my screen
@@truthdog1107 I found that it takes recons like 10 seconds for them to appear after the announcer says it. For counter recons it takes longer. It’s so annoying cuz it makes shooting them down even more annoying
The engineer perk solves this issue, but I agree how planes that are part of a map's background are hard to distinguish. Hotel Royale is the worst offender of this imo.
Watch the plane enter and you'll see eventually it'll do a little turn and slow down. Right after it stops turning aim the center of your cross hair about one plane distance infront of the plane (maybe a little less) and you'll nail them. My records 12 in one game hope this helps your grind.
Every death feels like a sniper shot even being killed by a AR or SMG
while sniper shots still gets hit markers
its so dumb.
TTK is destroying the fun
Which sniper are you using that you're getting a lot of hitmarkers? I've been using the 3 Line Rifle and have had a pretty consistent experience with it

I started pretty red hot on the game but after a week I’ve cooled demonstrably. Still having fun but found myself circling back to CW and checking out Halo vids. As players learn the maps (and the head glitches), people build out their weapons and further lower the TTK, it becomes a little more eye-rolly.
Seems like every map is just cluttered with head glitches everywhere. Seems like every lobby I get into are people just mounted up on a head glitch. Most of the time I die and do not even see the damn guy.

IMO disbanding lobbies is the worst thing to happen to CoD in recent memory. Hate it.
They also need to fix the bombing run kill streak killing you in core. I’ve been killed by my bombing run across the map when it wasn’t near me multiple times.

16 regular multiplayer maps but feels like I only get 8 of them.
Right????! And I usually get the worst one like dome, sub penns, and das haus. These 3 maps all have the worst spawns in the game

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I really don’t like some of SH’s map designs. Feels like there are far too many areas to camp and head glitch. Especially on blitz where some of these maps absolutely cannot handle 48 players because of spawns and the amount of areas where gunfire is coming at you if you’re on a bad side of the map.

Yeah I havent even played Gavuto or Castle. Played Red star twice, the occasional Eagle's Nest. But tons of Das Haus, Dome, and Decoy.
The game certainly has it’s moments but I find many of my deaths seem beyond my control - whether it be bad spawns, random explosives, getting melted by someone I can’t see etc. At this point it could well be just my inexperience with the game but if they made it slightly less chaotic it would be an improvement IMO.

Any game with as yearly release cycle is always going to have issues that can’t get worked out before launch, but I haven’t had this much fun playing a COD since late season WWII. Feels like an old school launch
I had to stop using the stg after I unlocked vital and Russian short mags. It’s completely broken

I think some perks could use some tuning as well. Engineer in particular feels really weak this time. Would be nice if it at least had streaks like enemy spy planes show up on the mini-map, can be tough on some maps picking them out from planes that are in the skybox just for show on certain maps.
While I'm fine with no lock-on launchers, but it would be nice if Engineer would also show the predicted path or give you a general target to aim at ahead of a plane you've tagged.
Engineer is garbage tier right now. Been using high alert at least it helps a little
Agreed, Engineer helping line up the shot on spy planes and counter spy planes would make it at least a little more appealing.

Engineer is useless in every cod, don’t think I’ve ever had it on a class in about 5 cods they’re all always way better perks that help you constantly rather than in a few situations
@@6Drugstep9 I’m only level 32 right now so limited options radar-evreryone uses silencers, tracker- useless, high alert, a yellow flash then I die .5 seconds later, engineer, the only ground based killstreak Goliath no one uses. It would be could if u could “tame” the enemy dogs or something at least
Broken guns aside, my biggest issue is I want tactical to actually mean 6v6. I often end up in 8v8 and 10v10 which I don't want.
You can remove 8v8 and 10v10, you have to go on changing modes menu, when you click on it, then on top right I think, there are colored icons which says the amount of player you want to plays against. Those icons doesn't say explicitly that it is 8v8 and 10v10 though, anyway you have to toggle of the right icons (8v8 and 10v10) then can always play on 6v6 matches.
And in my opinion, the game on 6v6 is two times better.
@@vastlor9986 at the time of this comment, tactical didn't necessarily always mean 6v6, especially on the bigger maps. I've given up playing this game at this point
Spawns are usually flip floppy on Hardpoint but they're extra bad in this game. Once the point moves, I swear enemies will spawn right behind me and get an easy kill. Hard to play aggressive when you'll unknowingly run into an enemy spawn point that you're entirely unaware of.
Hardpoint spawns are worse than Dom (which are really bad also). The spawns will flip consistently if the enemy team manage to capture the hill - they'll spawn SO close to the HP if they are knocked off, and then if I die I'm thrown to the back of the opposite side of the map. It makes no sense and is so unbalanced and doesn't seem to use mid map spawn logic at all. It's so heavily weighted especially on bigger maps and impossible to play if team mates don't rotate early. Really frustrating as I love HP as a mode :(
On the spawning issue while playing DOM, I think it’s because the game tries to help the team that’s losing in capturing a new point 😕

Besides ruining the flow of the game, the lack of Map Voting due to disbanding lobbies, also means that we have lost the self-adjusting mechanism regarding the frequency of the respective maps, where the "Cream Rises to the Top"
I'm a try hard for Objective modes, and it is so unfair that people who get more kills, even 2 or 3, than me always double the amount of points I have

No offense, but as a tryhard for killing people, I find it more skillful to hunt down people, go for flanks, aim consistently etc, than just sitting in one of the corners of a hardpoint and avoiding gunfights... unless you get money for winning, I don't get why would anyone prioritize objective over actually having fun
@@hunatya3183 Playing the objective is definitely not just sitting in the corner. Actually, a lot of players who play for just kills just camp looking for players playing the objective 😂 Trust me, playing the objective is checking for spawns, rotations, spawn traps, sprinting the whole map when getting killed, and a lot more stuff. This makes objective modes a lot more interesting.
There's more besides hardpoint. Domination is another great one. I used to play a lot of demolition back in BO3.
To each their own, but I do not get why people like that amount of weapon grind.
And head glitching punks are everywhere it's getting exhausting bro

@@thecrownoffusion8420 I can't buy them anymore. I played 2 spawns of the beta n deleted it. I'll see what general reviews are like at New Year's n maybe buy. But in terms of base atmosphere these last 3 seem to be all the same.
At first gunsmith was cool. Now it's just overbearing. Make up attachments just to have them. Why not at least give 2 per weapon level? 70 damn levels? Shit
There's people who thought getting 100 point blank kills per sniper rifle was a fair and not tedious mastery challenges. Thankfully they changed it to close ranged kills which isn't as bad.

An issue I noticed with patrol specifically is just how often I'm playing matches where one team doesn't have many players. I've won 3 patrol games by forfeit and have been stuck in a 1v6 and didn't get any teammates the whole match so I got horribly stomped. I match exclusively hardpoint & patrol and I've only seen this happening in patrol. Kinda sucks because I do genuinely like patrol, like hardpoint it gets you moving around the map and flows well on almost every map.
noticed same. If I put only 2 or 3 modes i’m going to get patrol most the time. maybe not as much people aren’t matching for it or there’s a bug in filling the mode. if it’s a 6vs6 it’s definitely going to be lopsided badly
This is the most fun I’ve had with a cod in YEARS. There are obvious issues, but overall it’s very enjoyable.
That's because it caters to low skill players.

I won’t lie. I’m a kill hunter in OBJ game modes, but in games past with score streaks, like Cold War and BO4, I would at the very least play some OBJ just for the score. In this game and MW, I have no incentive to risk my life to play OBJ, since winning the game itself isn’t super important to me
Facts. You should get 1 kill for capturing home flag in dom. 2 kills for capturing neutral B & 3 kills for capturing enemy B flag
There is a simple solution.. winner team get x2 xp and weapon xo as well as 1 Cod Point
You get more score for a kill than risking your life for a measly cap point
Not to mention SBMM will punish you if you win by putting you in a much sweatier match the next few games.
@@dillonc7955 SBMM punishes you for your individual performance, not winning a game. If you lose every game, but have a 2+KDR, you'll definitely be bumped up a skill group.
I wish the TTK was how it was in the beta and any TTK altering attachments were removed. It's too fast right now, and there's not enough opportunities have actual gunfights.
Once they nerf the guns that have an 80ms 2 shot kill and the shotguns outrageous range it will help.

I actually am having a lot of fun currently. Only major bug that I've had is when playing splitscreen with a buddy, the end of match screen is pretty broken.
I love the MVP system for one reason only. The good old end of match trash talk.

If they turned down the destruction a bit on decoy I feel like it would’ve been one of the best maps
I like Decoy. It is one if my favorite maps in this game. Castle and Eagle's Nest are great too.
Das Haus and Dome are totally gross though.

Bo4 was the last cod MP i played a lot…MW 2019/CW (still got ultra camo) sent me away, was not feeling it lol…Vanguard has brought me back 💯!! Best release in a long time!! Looking forward to WZ and Vanguard the rest of the year and next

Honestly I love the fact you waited for a full review. Some just give a kneejerk reaction and first impressions which is fine, but waiting, testing and really getting to grips with a new game really allow for better thought out and constructive review. I expect nothing less from Ace though, so keep it up good sir 👍
I'm glad you appreciate the fact that I wanted to wait. I've been getting a bunch of hate throughout the week because people thought I was covering up the problems by not making a review right away which is really frustrating since I'm just trying to get a feel for the game before sharing my review.
You know the fact we can kit our guns out as much as we want is really nice, I just wish this version of gunsmith launched with a more modern CoD because while they at least made the attachments look accurate, a no stock stg44 with a drum mag, 20in barrel, reflex sights, and a foregrip is a bit cursed

Combat pacing is an amazing addition. Sometimes 6v6 feels slow and you can’t find people to kill. Love assault and blitz. Movement is amazing and so smooth. And patrol is may favorite cod mode of all time. So fun

Great review Ace. I share many viewpoints... I must say though, I have played solo 99% of the time thus far, and I've never been thrown into an in-progress game after finishing a game and not backing out. Not sure why that's happening to you and not to me.

I love professor ACE. Your data and observations are always fair and on point. I wish the devs would just watch this and try to implement all of it. This game is fun but vital is terrible the time to kill doesn't need to be any faster
I completely agree with you. and also this screensaver with voting when you are attached to the floor of the skating rink and you still watch the screensaver with voting for half an hour
One of the other issues with sub pens, especially on domination is that the beat half of the map has no objective so the objective is left out in the open is hard to take and impossible to get your team to capture.
I absolutely love the blitz feature!! just makes the game so much fun.
Blitz on ffa is a nightmare for me, I'm sure other like it though.
without saying that it´s good or bad, I think it is safe to say that Vanguard has been the best Call of Duty AT LAUNCH in a long time!

For multiplayer. As a mainly zombies player, this really pisses me off. I would have perfered if they didnt even make a zombies mode until later, cause this is just terrible. The multiplayer is great, but the zombies just leaves a bad taste in my mouth
Unless you bought the game for Zombies, because you essentially just got scammed out of your money.

I believe there should divide the streaks system in scorestreaks for objective gamemodes and killstreaks for TDM and FFA, because something I hate about classic scorestreaks is having to earn ~5 kills for a UAV. Also objectives should give more points in order to make them viable, because many people would just go for kills because they give way more score than the objectives.
Like why we don't have in a COD yet when every mode besides TDM and FFA is Objective game mode
Something I thought about during MW19's year was if they split the streaks into classes similar to MW3's Strike Packages. Assault Class would be kill-based and let you pick offensive streaks like bombs or dogs. Support Class would be score-based and let you pick more team-play oriented streaks like advanced recon. Specialist would have no streaks but let you unlock the bonus on your way to V2.
Glad a lot of people are having fun in this COD at least. Personally I agree with all of the negatives you mentioned and they're enough to really demotivate me from keep on grinding right now.
One issue is just how many games start with less than the max amount of players in the pacing. All my games on day 1 were 4v4s in 6v6 lobbies. So there's always spots for players to be matched into an existing lobby so this is probably one reason why we keep getting matched into already in progress games. It's not as noticeable now, but it still happens a lot.
I think the mvp screen is an interesting addition, especially when playing with friends

Man I couldn’t figure out why I kept getting absolutely MELTED by stgs and Type 100s even when I was shooting first and had a better shot….long story short I tried the two shot class and minimum dropped 1 dogs every single game I play with it
I've been playing exclusively solo so far and haven't had your issue with constantly joining in Progress games. I'm only level 45ish atm so that could play a part.
I've had an issue with the mortar killstreak being unable to be placed. I've seen some others talk about it on social media as well. Even when your in the most open free areas on a map it will bug out and say can't be placed in cover.
I wonder if they could just make it so that in objective game modes you have score streaks instead of kill streaks. That way the streak system fits whatever game mode you're playing.
I actually like all the maps you mentioned. The one map I absolutely HATE is Gavutu. It's way too big, way too open, too many strong places to camp. It's a long range sniper paradise and I think it's complete garbage.
I 100% agree with the aim assist issue. I straight up disabled crossplay because my strafe wasn't even doing any thing. How can a M&K player compete with near literal aimbot? Turning off crossplay had an immediate noticeable impact. My strafe ACTUALLY MADE THEM MISS. Humans are not robots and can not perfectly track like a controller can. As a PC player, your options are basically to just use a controller or lose almost every face up gun fight no matter what you do. At this point cod needs input based matchmaking.

Cod will always have aimbot level aim assist unfortunately because it makes casuals like the game.
Same thing about the crossplay Jarek(love your content btw). The rotational aim assist makes it so if you sit on a headglitch and slightly wiggle back and forth, it's strong enough that you can just shoot once your aim moves and 2 shot the enemy. Now with crossplay off, I'm not instantly getting beamed nonstop and people actually do stuff like...missing you.
This is the most fun I’ve been having in call of duty in a couple years
The MVP voting is pretty cool. Quality of life improvements are important. Those maps you pointed out are fine on paper IMO. The spawns are what ruin them. Kills the flow. Especially on domination, like you mentioned.
it's crazy to have so many maps at launch I still haven't played many in the video. it reminds me of when I played my first cod (mw1) I didn't play the map showdown until I was like level 45. at the time I thoughtful it was a new map that was added later lol

Vanguard is pretty good for a COD release: few large problems for me: Why Allies versus Allies? and some people just blend in with many map colors (Where they're almost invisible). No pausing in zombies... Zombies is ultra repetitive (but I assume they'll add to it), by round 6 I'm practically maxed out..
The allies vs allies thing seems silly to me. I know Multiplayer isn't accurate to the campaign, but at least the sides made sense. If they're scared to add an Axis side to Multiplayer, why even do a World War 2 game to begin with?

I liked Specialist in MW3 where you would unlock perks, then 7 kills unlocks all of them. I also like Support Killstreaks where you keep score after death like Recon Drone where you fly and tag targets etc.

First 10 hours I hated it…but it usually takes me 2 days of playing time to really for sure know if I like it or hate it..but now with 20 hours it’s starting to kind of grow on me…

It took several days for the game to grow on me. Going from Cold War's slow time to kill to Vanguard's fast one, it's two completely different experiences.
For a game that has a life cycle of 1 year, the sure seems to be a lot of bugs. Nothing new though. And I think that's why people don't mind buying the game. They have the "it'll be better next year" mindset. After watching more of the video, I'm starting to think the disbanding lobbies are a marketing ploy to see as many players as possible. Players = Skins. And don't expect much of a change for the PotG/ highlights. It was created so they can sell animations and skins that players are yet again forced to see. I play overwatch and you can leave as soon as the game ends. You don't have to watch the PotG and you dont have to stay for the voting.
Play of the game and the MVP screen is just super annoying. It takes way to long. I find it really hard to believe that people will actually buy that stuff.
They disband lobbies because of combat pacing. Take a map like Das Haus with 8 people on blitz and a map like Red Star with 15+ players on blitz for example. If the lobby starts with 15+ players to fill a Red Star game people will have to be kicked to reach the 8 person maximum of Das Haus.

The truly sad part about cod games is usually do they improve on some things, or add some good new features/changes. But then the next year most of them get reverted back or other bad things get reintroduced back. One example being flinch in Cold War being toned down a lot, and now its back again. Same with random bullet spread being removed in Black Ops 4, now it´s back again etc etc.

The only things really bugging me about this game are the maps and the SBMM. I could deal with the latter if I was actually on a current gen console, but PS5s are impossible to get for retail.
The maps aren't terrible like Cold War's, but the spawns are disgustingly bad and I don't understand the CoD community's taste for bad remakes. Dome is HORRIBLE; they should've at least brought back the MW3 version or maybe a better map.
Spawns should not be an issue in a CoD game when the franchise has like 17 installments and 3 different studios. It should not be this hard after this many years, there's no excuse.
Man, I honestly love this game. It has some bugs but I expected that. But I think it isalready a solid game. This is the first cod game in I don't know how many years that I actively think about and look forward to playing.
This game could be very good but it got released in almost alpha form. The glitches, maps, spawns, pretty much everything is broken or terrible. The weapons are recycled from cod ww2 no variation just something repeated. The engine however is really good, modern warfare still beats this game by miles in my eyes.

This video is just about as on point as it gets and I 100% agree with every single point you make. The point about score streaks is absolutely GOLDEN! I absolutely used to LOVE objective game modes in the earlier COD's because you were actually rewarded for playing the objective. Cold War was an absolute joke in this regard with the ridiculous scoring multipliers. One additional point I find really frustrating in Vanguard is on many of the maps (particularly the more chaotic ones) is that I find myself shooting at the name tags rather than the players because I simply can't see the players. The name tags are far too prominent.
Thanks for a solid review. Yeah there are issues and room for improvement but overall I’m having a lot of fun with it. Seems like so many people get off on completely bashing it but I think it’s a good game with a lot of potential. I really like the score streak idea to encourage people to play the objective.

I wish for the return of the old point streaks where an objective cap and destroying kill streaks nets you the same points as kills. For years now I see no one getting objectives and no one shooting kill streaks. Usually as the only player on my team doing that, I wish to be rewarded properly for that (or at least have score streak system that award a bit more score than previous COD entries).

I really agree with pretty much everything you said in this video however I've noticed that alot of people, well the majority or people don't see an issue with the snipers this year but as someone who exclusively snipes on cod and plays aggressively, I can tell you now that the snipers for the last few years have always got the short end of the stick and I would love to see some more changes to the attachments for the snipers, we get severely punished in terms of damage and ads speed if we want more ammo and the flinch on snipers too is alot more than when using any reg gun and I understand that the casual player base doesn't like being quickscoped but it's always been a huge part of cod and in some ways helped the cod community stay alive and well. It's a shame to see the sniping community slowly fading away because all of the newer games punish us for no valid reason. Before o get hate comments on this too I would recommend that all of you try playing with a sniper and play fast too, you will see how many hitmarkers you get, how slow they are and you will see how the attachments take away the fun from sniping and only really make 1 or 2 builds of the sniper viable. It's really sad. Just thought I would share that with you because it's something I've always been passionate about.

I legit have such a huge problem that they won’t let you get a decent skin or gun variant without paying for it, and the cheapest one is the battle pass which usually has the worst kind of equipment inside that it’s basically pointless to buy! Not to mention how they nerf how battle passes worked (especially in cold war) it made the battle pass even less worth it making the grind and stuff to be pointless!

Yes please get rid of the MVP screen! Takes forever to watch, and the animations are just so boring I don't care I just want the game to end so I can start the next game. Also, slide cancelling and tactical sprint cooldown reset needs to be readjusted to how it works in MW 2019.
The issue I had problems was with the game locking up on ps4 can t bring up dashboard till I found out to disable the on demand streaming option, since then no game crash nor lock up
The spawn issue was the main thing I consistently complained about in the beta. I’m a Dom player as well and having people spawn behind me in a variety of locations all the time is wild. That one map.. hotel? Was the worst one
I have to admit, I'm liking Vanguard a whole lot more than I thought I would. The map variety is awesome, and the maps are very diverse. Movement and gunplay is good as well. Also love the blitz pacing for leveling up and killstreaks.
I just wish killstreaks can loop and also remove suppression and bloom

Old mans Review: overall GREAT.
Positives: Multiplayer is lots of fun, foundation is the MW19 engine, movement feels amazing. Console FOV slider, added controller options, maps are great. Tons of content, great graphics. Running 1440 / 120 FPS on 105 FOV smoothly.
Negatives: reticles are hot yellow trash, i was expecting a blue dot. Lots of annoying bugs. Optics are weird. Tired of the WW2 theme. Footsteps are a little too quite.

The easiest way to tell if the perk bug is happening is if you're using the Demolition perk. You'll know immediately if you don't have two lethals. And when you use one you won't get the nice aim indicator. Also Piercing Vision is very easy to notice too, since it won't highlight an enemy you shoot.
Yes man thank you Ace!!! Aim assist has been getting stronger and stronger every year and its just too much now. I fully agree tht controllers need SOME aim assist, but this rotational stuff that is actually moving your screen is just far too much.

Player collision and doors are infuriating, but other than that, I really enjoy this game over MW2019 and even Cold War. I really liked Cold War and didn't really like MW2019, but this game gives me the best from both in my opinion.

You pretty much covered the biggest things, Id like to add map voting as well though. 16 maps is as well and good, but some play sessions you only see a few maps over and over again.
Am I missing something or is my aim assist not the same? I dont understand how people say it's broken I almost never "lock on" to a person. Now that can be due to me just being bad but I just dont feel it being so strong.
My preference would be for them to abandon the 10 attachments and gunsmith entirely, and just do 1 attachment per gun like Mw2/Bo1 (2 with bling/warlord). Hate the having to level up my guns insanely for them to not suck, and having to think way too much about the pros and cons of the attachments. It was more fun in MW2 just grinding to get extended mags or FMV or whatever but the gun was always perfectly useable with no attachments at all.
Otherwise the game is fine, I seem to suck or maybe the SBMM is just super strict but its always fun when the games first come out learning the maps and leveling up. Some of the maps are truly awful though, almost MW2019 bad but not quite.
BO1 had the best progression. Just unlock the attachments in whatever order you want

That's probably my least favourite part of older games, I enjoy the amount of customization, the part I don't enjoy is how long it takes to level things up.
I think 10 is way too much. I dont want to be able to choose everything I could possibly want. I found 5 in MW 2019 was plenty of variety but didnt allow you access to every slot. I think 1 attachment base like in the past is a little too limiting.

So from what I have seen is - In domination, if you are top 3 on your team leader board, you are likely to spawn into the enemy's team if you are on the losing team. Which can help for counterplay. This does seem like a very big issue with B flag being a very advantageous spot depending on what side you spawn.

-The gameplay is incredibly gimmicky and casual (one pellet shotgun hipfire lol, 2 hit stg lol, bayonet from 10 meters, stopping power attachment lol)
-The levels are pretty bad. (Week 1 and already everyone is on Daus Haus 24/7)
-The visibility is really bad. Half of the time im literally just looking to shoot at the red notifier, not an actual person.
-Zombies is trash. the entire zombies community is upset. not joking
-World War 2 is boring. How many times have we played a WW2 game? like 10?
-The scroestreaks are underwhelming. Nothing feels fresh at all.
-The class system feels like a copy paste of MW2019. It's not unique to anything...at all.
This game isnt "awful" as its definitely better than IW, AW, and Ghosts but id honestly rather play MW2019, CW, or Warzone. It's just not a "fun" game. It's loaded with stupid unbalanced shit.
