Thanks for putting me at ease. I was so panicked I started shaving my head and face for the first time and go bad irritation in the back of my head and bumps! I'm going to get that lotion TODAY!!!
I used ur recipe for the tend skin and after using it the first time i could tell the difference. I been using it since then and the small bumps are pretty much gone. Thanks for ur recipe, i'll be sharing this with my friends and family.
The best thing I've learned in a long time! I have really pale skin so the slightest mark shows up. My legs are in such a state sometimes after just the first day of shaving! I'm going to try your version of Tend skin. See how it works out. Thanks again!
I came across your video while browsing trimmer videos. You gave great advice that men can use too, especially the part about the warm compress, and the lotions. On another note, I love the way that one eye keeps blinking real slow. I felt like you were flirting with me through out the whole video.lol
Thank you for the information. I have had little success with my concoction. One vloger used 26 uncoated aspirins in her mixture. The Tend Skin left dried outlines around each in grown hair, I have a lot of them, and the Nivea lotation irritated my skin when I applied it to the dried out spots
i don't know if anyone has answered your question since it's been a year, but i think i might be able to help. each strand of hair on your body is growing in its own follicle with continued hair growth beneath the skin's surface. unlike waxing or tweezing, shaving only cuts hair from the surface of the skin leaving the root behind. the black dots could be hair closer its root underneath your first layer of skin. you could try waxing or epilating- anything that removes hair from the root!
Great video. I just really wanted to know where to purchase the lotions you mentioned. Does the tend skin offer immediate results also? Just wondering how fast it works.
Just attempted to make home made Tend Skin. My advice to all who want to do it, use less water. And the glycerin, seriously, take it easy on that stuff. It wasn't until my 4th batch that I figured you only need a few drops of it to make it like Tend Skin. I reused my 4 fl. oz. bottle and did it like this: 3/4 bottle of alcohol, about 3 tablespoons of water, 3 tablespoons of astringent, a crushed aspirin. and literally like 1/4 teaspoon of glycerin. All props to this video. I hope it helps!
Honestly If You Go To A Beauty Supply In The Hood The Smallest One Is 9.99-20.00 and its worth it you get good results after 24-48 hours and even better ones in two weeks. The bigger bottles are a waste of money cause they lose their potently after two weeks of use so just buy the smaller one (4oz)! It works very good on African American skin!!!
@staja2107 its used to removes duling excess oils and dryness, i used to use it for my scalp before i washed my hair, u can get it from hair store or order it online
I found your video very informative. Thanks! I have been growing facial hair and through the years I have a habit of pulling and picking at them which has now turned into ugly scarring and ingrown hairs. it's always inflamed from me picking it. i want to clear this up but just don't know where to start. can you help me get on the right track with a regimine i can do now to help heal the skin from the scarring and prevent any more damage please
Tend Skin does work I have been using it for months now. It wont get rid of the bumps 100% but it helps. The only bad thing is cost too much money (8oz bottle $19.99 plus tax) but some people like to make their own tend skin formula. Anyway if you buy the product make sure you give your face a good scrub and dry it really well before applying otherwise it won't be as effective.
i appreciate the video, i purchased something called "no bump' at sallys' its suppose to work a little better people are saying i got that and im also going to try this one as well, thanks again for your review
I am a black woman and I get ingrown hairs under my neck. Sometimes I see tha hair and I am able to remove it with a tweezer & other times I have little bumps uder my neck and I will have to use a little needle to dig in and get the hair out. Now I have a little marks/scarring under my neck from picking with the needle. Is there a product/s that you would reccommend.
I was watching another recipe to make tend skin but they don't include the glycerin and add about 18 tablets of aspirin (can't remember the righ amount but it was a lot lol) I didn't think that would b safe to use so much aspirin. Is it safe?? .... I trust your recipe more and will be trying this today. I will check back and let u know the results. Thanks for the recipe I can't find any tend skin in my small town so this really helps :)
this vid was very helpful used to shave but now i wax my Peri area i notice that i get less ingrown hairs this way but i have scars rather dark spots what can i do to get them to go away
@magmaman114 same here idk if you are male or female but I'm a male and I know for a fact that it will hurt for bout a week but if you keep lotion on it and keep shaving every day then the pain and razor burn goes away(Also the little red bumps)
I have these little black dots on my skin (legs) and their not razor bumps or just regular bumps in general. Are they ingrown hair? They are everywhere and when I try to take them out, they are really curly and they are right in my skin. I want to get clear, soft looking skin so should I use Tent Skin?
My problem is, I don't know where to get aspirin or astringent or glycerol. I really want to do this because I really can't afford tend skin and I really want to treat my razor bumps but I really don't know what these products are and where to get them.
ok i need that at 4:33 my barber suggested taht to me. so like where do you get i need a specific establishment because i went to cvs to get it i went to durane read even still cant find. am i looking in the wrong areas. where did you get yours ? =]
WOW! Thanks who knew. I have those ugly 50 year old pre-men. chin bumps that I cant get rid of. I'm gonna try making this stuff because I am sure I won't be able to find it. By the way do you know what noxzema have in it tha helps me with my oily skin. You talk like you've been to school to be a dermatologist. Thanks
hi there, I enjoyed your video, your very informative. But I would love you to try my cleanser it will make your skin glow even more than it does already.
Well it is a black head but DO NOT touch them or try to pop them because that could create scars on you legs but if you shave they could get out by themselves
You have no idea how happy i am to have come across your video. I made my own homemade tendskin and IT WORKS!
Thank you--Just saw another vid from a sista sharing her ingrown hair concoction.
You guys are so informative.

Very informative vid. Thanks for the recipe.
What was that last ingredient? What is it and where can I buy it? Also is there a set amount that I need to add to your recipe?

Hey! Just wondering, does witch hazel work just the same as the suggestions you gave us at the start of the video?? xx

3/4 of the bottle you're going to use to put the solution in.
thank you that was very helpfull :)
I've used tend skin an skin tight, but I prefer skin tight (for women).
But I love the shaving tips
TEND SKIN WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pulling out the hair causes more damage and inflammation . The only way to permanently remove it is laser treatment
