I'm not seeing any rows of long dots to signify pauses. Has there been an update that has chnged this? I can't get my long silences removed. I've been trying for hours.

I use Descript on my MacBook Pro and I love it. However I recently purchased a new iPad Pro to travel with but Descript is not available on the iPad as an app nor does the web version appear to be supported. I’m looking for another program with the same features. Any thoughts?
I uploaded a long format video into Descript and it accurately transcribed it but it is not showing the '........' for the pauses and is not addressing those time gaps. Is this a setting?

I only need a video showing the text and tracking (highlighting) the text (like transcipting it) while text to speech reads synchronously. nothing else, its like a visual auto read noval. (like kindle whispersync a.k.a. read along, read aloud) .. so video should should whole text which fits to screen (like 1 page) but should continiously highlight the read part. Can descript do this ?

Apart from iffy AI retake generator and automatic translation (without knowing how to use adons on other editing software) this is about as much work as regular editing for basic video. Not too different in difficulty either.
If you find taking 3x longer than it takes to record live impacts how much video you make, make watchable video faster than you record it. TimeBolt uses silence detection not AI transcription for a base cut 20x more precise. Ends of words don't get cut off, or have a sloppy .20 pad to start a cut. You have over 3M subs so i doubt you're editing without a team. But imagine being able to rip through your takes, pick the best one, where you control the timing, and just share a saved JSON file with your editor. No more revisions on what you cut or keep, and design happens far faster this way. I'd be the only reason you don't already use TimeBolt is because you don't know it exists. In fact, if you try TimeBolt and it doesn't deliver a 3x return on time, for every video you talk and make (even gopro footage), make a video, call me a shrill, trash the software. But if you do like it, the rest takes care of itself. Always does. You do great video. Happy to hook you up with an annual trial to give it a go.
