This video is SO Money! I have been struggling with Descript, moving wonndershare to my cutter software lol, I knew descript was badass when I used it first, but the learning curve.. Thank you David!
Sir, thanks for your tutorial. I need to create multimodel content which has the ability to retain the transcript side by side to the video. Is that possible? If so, can someone guide me please.
Hi David. 1 question, hope you can answer. I only need a video showing the text and tracking (highlighting) the text (like transcipting it) while text to speech reads synchronously. nothing else, its like a visual auto read noval. (like kindle whispersync a.k.a. read along, read aloud) .. so video should should whole text which fits to screen (like 1 page) but should continiously highlight the read part. Can descript do this ?
Really useful video thank you. I struggled a little to get the hang of Descript, I find the editing via transcript very handy but not quite precise in some instances. On a separate note, your background green screen chromakeying is very accurate imo, care to share the secrets please?:) Thanks buddy.
@@dundasbrandsDid you edit in CapCut first then drop it into Descript? I love CapCut. I was hoping I could just use it for podcast but no dice. What are your thoughts?
@@dundasbrands Thanks for responding. I want to do remote interviews. My PCs webcam isn't great quality. Can I use my cell as a webcam? Please make a video on this to reference. I am exhausted trying to figure that piece out.
Hi David, and thank you. I am a novice. I am trying to decide between descript or wisecut to produce a documentary...or something else; what are your thoughts on this concern?
I haven't used or heard of Wisecut, but Descript is very beginner friendly. Usually you want to guide the AI so anything that decides on the storyline for you probably won't be the best. We want to lean on AI as a tool to help us do the work, not do the work for us. Hope this helps!
Are you using Descript yet? What are your favorite features?
Great content Dave! Thanks!
Great video!

Love to hear that! I’ve been planning to make one on the new interface. They just updated it a couple of weeks ago

@@StephTalk_TV I actually use descript first, then export it out to capcut for polishing - transitions, green screen etc.

Descript is crap and Adobe now has text based editing included.
