Thats cool my man, however I have been looking everywhere for my own language and cant find it. I guess it is because it is a minority language ( Scottish Gaelic) but I know that other minority languages exist in programmes. Going to keep my eyes open for it. It has to be included some day. Google translate has it for written translations but no sound. And anyway Google translate can come up with some cringeworthy translations at times. Thanks for dropping your knowledge dood.

Is the text AI detectable or do you not worry about that?

I think what it is, it's just a self built/compilation encyclopedia of specifics subjects we're interested in, just so we can have all the informations in one page for future references. Like say if you're an author and you want to write about werewolf, you would make one of these pages to compile every single information you or the AI can gather about werewolf, and maintain it. I'm an author, so I could see a potential use for this. Sure, it's not your self-made content per se, but it is a one page source for all contents under one roof. For research purposes.

Well, it seems to make it a little easier to share insights obtained from perplexity AI with other people. You can just send them a link to the page and they don't have to log in or anything.

I was thinking they wanted it to compete with Wikipedia (given all the citation/sources) but new pages will not be indexed in search engines as it is blocked in perplexity's robots.txt file.

Do we have to choose one or the other? There are multiple suppliers I'd like to use, but does that make for more work for me or does it stay the same- just finding products from wherever? How would I set up shipping fees- one flat rate, like $3.99 or $4.99, regardless of where the items are coming from in a customer's order? If their order consists of 3 items from one supplier and 2 from another, obviously they will receive multiple packages. Thanks! Great video!

Very helpful reflections. Thanks. I tried the feature but not directly via the Pages tab. Prompted Perplexity to write a piece informed by links to some of my own published research. Gave directions as to how I wanted the ‘article’ to appear, and the particular focus (arguments for and against a choice of method). Then did ‘convert to Page’. Reasonable result (used it to make a post on X). Like you I’m finding Perplexity very useful generally. As you say will be interesting to see how they iterate Pages more with users in mind 🌝.

Does this work on the MacOS version? I am using the macOS version and I don't see the option to connect to google drive

I've seen that this feature can create AI images to go along with the articles. It would be really concerning if AI pages (with inaccuracies) that have images with (inaccuracies) outrank edited and fact checked content. I am not anti AI in any capacity. I use it all the time to summarize, assist, brainstorm, and help me structure my thoughts. I do have the same ethical concerns that are discussed elsewhere and don't have a perfect solution, but It's great that Perplexity does at least link to sources.
