I actually tried burning frankincense without charcoal today by placing an unscented candle inside a candle holder and lit it. Once it melted a bit, I dropped a few small pieces of frankincense in the melted wax, and it works well. Initially, there was a bit of smoke, but that subsided. It burned for 7 hours until I went to bed. I just kept adding a few pieces when the fragrance wasn't noticable anymore. Do you think this is okay? This is my first time trying it, so I hope it's safe and not unhealthy.
Any new tips? I tried this, it works but not getting much inscense smell. I tried using DPG oil and got pretty good results but the DPG was used up rather quickly. Maybe a different brand of veg oil should be given a try?
I'm trying to find some kind of electric burner to burn incense resin without charcoal or a lot of smoke as my smoke alarm is very sensitive..Unfortunately, so far haven't found anything suitable..
Hi! thanks for sharing! This was really helpful! Do you have any experience with burning resin on any kind of sand? Also i would live to see ur video on cooking over the tea light candles. Thanks again! peace
I watched both your first video for this and this one and thank you! I tried coconut oil after your first video of this and it worked great, I was wondering if u have ever tried the coconut oil ...thank you
hey at 3:41 there was a fly in the video. Is that your pet? What is his name?
Oh how cool! I have doing this for years, honestly didn't know it was a thing!!🤗
Darn. You're way ahead of me! 😂😂😂

Why do you need to add wax to the resin?
Thank you again for your help. U r easy to understand and speak calmly and I appreciate that. U r great!!
Would it be simpler to just add a piece or two of the resin to the melted tea light candle itself? That's in essence hot, melted wax. IDK
This can actually be a fire hazard. The resin could catch fire and be dangerous
And would kind of be engulfed in the smell of the candle. It'd burn out before directly reaching any of the resin
why not mineral oil?

Just saw your comment a year later, but I wonder if mineral oil would work well (and safely) as a heating medium.

Subitism Burner
Me too
Could I just burn a tea light candle and put resin in the burning candle?? I was wanting to try that out! Ty for info✨
I wouldn't do that. Resin is flammable and if it caught fire in the tea light candle the fire might get out of hand. Not a safe practice.
Hermetic Temple Arts Oh ok. Glad I waited for a response! LOL. Also glad didn’t burn my house down 😆. Thanks man✨
Thanks for the info! Can I use loose powder incense instead of resin?
Have you tried using jojoba oil-- which is a wax with a very long shelf life that most resins are soluble in?
Do a new video again with pure bee wax as one mix and Greek virgin olive oil (Crete/Kalamata or Delphi) with pure bee wax
Can you use water? Or is the boling temperature too low for bakhoor?
dont use water. only veggie oil, canola oil, or wax. you could even crush it up and put it in a candle

Can I still use tin foil in the bowl then add the wax and bahkoor or resin inside?
