The sound clips are they without the tune/using the smaller diameter adapter? Sounds nice. Never mind, just watched the rest of it. Got to see if they sound different without the adapter and a tune.
They did a study on this. During acceleration the air coming from outside is quick enough to get into the intakes before the engine heats it up. This is only true from digs, but even then it’s only for a very short amount of time.

If you truly want to know these intakes make more power than any intakes on the market other than our 3" longtubes. These also give you 3 -8 degrees over Ambient air at the MAF. So not "hot" at all
With these intakes you don’t cuz they have the same Diameter piping as stock but when your ready to get a tune there’s a cylinder inside you can take out to make it a 3 inch intakes
Nah I'll keep my AMS intakes. They sound the same and keep out the hot air. Those are fully exposed and will raise are intake temps for sure. You're actually hurting your performance with these intakes.

Racebox tested these on the new z and they compared AMS, Boosted6 and Stock. These ended up making more then AMS and stock ofc.

They were tested with the hood open. Test results would be different if they done with the hood closed.

Well there is only 1 PCV valve on the car so just putting the catch can through it should catch the oil for both turbos
