Any "farmer" who tries to grow corn and run a tractor that continually falls apart or blows up leaving a trail of "entrails" while wearing a sartorially spiffy 3-piece suit is definitely sane! Pax
I loved watching this as a 3rd grader back in the 60's...Now it's almost impossible to watch without grinding my teeth...WtF were people smoking or drinking back then???
@Lewis 970 Kimball was sick, they had Reagan ( actor) replace him, Reagan fit right in, no one could tell the difference, the rest is history. Carter originally was a nuclear engineer.
I thought that Mrs. Rick Nelson was pregnamt at this time by the suit she was wearing , but she was the mother of three at this time . This was done in 1970 and her son Sam was born in 1974 . Her acting looks distracted as though she was doing this as a favor .

Nuts, all my elementary teachers were ninety years old.
Great editing, how they would cut off Eddie Albert in the middle of a sentence.
Trivia, 1n 1969 Mr. Douglas became the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers and in 1980 hank Kimball was elected Prez of the USA.

Not a very talented actress. I guess that doesn’t matter when you marry show biz royalty.
