I am a little frustrated watching this video because out of all of my termite inspections none went through the inside of my home like this. One came in one time and did a little tapping but he was the only one. My home is over 3300 sq ft with high ceilings, how am I supposed to check for termites in those instances. I live in North Carolina.
Agreed. However, termite damage is usually going to be down low. Unless you're dealing with drywood termites, that's when you're going to want to explore the higher parts of your home. Not that subterranean termites can't get that high it's just less likely.
Hi Massimiliano, your best option is going to be to bait directly on the active termites, cover them to keep the moisture in and then leave for 3-4 weeks and check and rebait the active areas. This inspector is targeting subterranian termites since he keeps referencing to leaks, water, and mud tubes. Do they not have drywood termites in AUS?
I paid over 300 fir a termite inspection and got all clear in house ... day after i found termite damage on window he was tapping. Waste of 300
