I wish Acura also adds air vent for third row.
2026 they will add aire vents in 3rd row for 10K more
@@2527cordero then they will not be competitive against other rivals such Lexus TX which has air vent for the same price. Even many other non-luxury SUV/minivan comes with air vent for third row including Honda Pilot and Odyssey.
I wanna see the 2025 Acura Rdx
Just got a 2024 for a great price they are moving the left over stock. The Infotainment is an improvement but I have no issues with he trackpad I'm totally use to it an its become intuitive. I find when driving its better than reaching for a touch screen. Just my opinion.
I have a 22 MDX Advance with the TTIP. After 34 months of using it, I can agree somewhat that "you get Used to it". But it really SUX when in Android Auto or Car Play mode. Reviewers rarely spell that out. When i AA mode, the touch pad becomes a very SLOW Mouse pad. I take my eyes off the road much more because the cursor moves so slowly across the board. And, when in AA , you cannot use the center Console USB port to play Flash Drives of music!! This review does NOT tell you that.
I work for Acura and I couldn’t agree with you more let’s be unsafe and reach for a screen all while taking our eyes off the road makes a ton of sense . But it’s what the car people wanted so here it is.
Do you me asking how much and what trim? I’m looking for a 2024 MDX. They are offering a low APR which is unheard of these days.
@@marcelaalva4682 I got $7500 off for MDX tech package or higher trim with 3.99APR.
Same here. Got a 2024 mdx a spec. I was dreading that touchpad. Now I love it. No smudges on my screen and don’t have to take my eyes off the road 🎉
Honestly, I’d buy a QX60 Luxe and save several thousand dollars. 😂
The old diamond grill is better looking. The new one looks from Genesis.
As every MDX owner is saying, the AC is weak.
Suspension need some serious tuning, too much body roll and rough ride, but so not sure on the Type-S.
Great review. Nice they added the touchscreen. For folks like me that hate a fingerprint ridden screen I'd have to wipe all the time, I'm fine with the TouchPad in my 24 RDX. Combined with voice commands it's simple enough to operate. Don't understand all the hate it gets really, but nice to have the touch option.
Wow A Spec advance has everything the Type S advanced has except for the engine and suspension! Great color too. Too bad the arm rest is gone
a gimmicky trim for Acura for then to cahrge more. from a price standpoint, why would you pay that when you can just have the Type S
We have a '23 A-spec. Love the car,but needs a tad more power. The 10speed trans is nice, but our '14 mdx will run circles around it.
good car but too expensive
Compared to what?? Lexus, Audi, Mercedes, Infiniti, they all are overpriced not an Acura.
I wish that they didn't get rid of the touchpad completely and let the driver have both so they can choose which one they want to use.
I hate having fingerprints all over the screen.
Don't like the center console now. Just looks blah...should've kept the touchpad along with the touchscreen 🤷🏾♂️
Progress, I guess.
Ok grandpa
Another grandpa here 😂😂😂🥸
center console look cleaner the way it was only needed touch screen
Totally agree, they should've included both options.
All the Germans, including the Koreans now, give multiple options to use the infotainment. I have a Type S right now, and the palm rest comes in handy, and cleans up the look of that large wireless phone charger....plus it looks better 🤷🏾♂️
same old motor. gas eater. $69k overpriced

I recently traded in my 2023 model for the new 2025 MDX A-Spec Advance. The main reason for the upgrade was the infotainment system-I really disliked the touchpad. After extensive searching at the end of 2022, I couldn’t find anything better than the MDX within my budget. Thanks for the video; I didn’t even know I had massage seats! I love my car even more now. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Ramon!
the interface was good while driving!
You are great! I like your video!
Thank you Jack!
It's still a shame that ACURA does NOT want to include 3rd-row air vents after numerous times of sending them messages about including them into the MDX. Guess they don't care about the lil children who'll be riding back there.
Luxurious
Nothing much has changed for the better IMO, except for massage seats.
I actually prefer the TTP,
The audio system is inferior to ELS,
I hate the piano black and it is still there,
Acura MDX strut and control arm parts are low quality - if you got the MDX to some mild bumpy back, struts, control arms start having problems!
Still no vehicle autonomy and towing and hauling still is really weak. Verdict: Honda off road making friends and influencing people even bigger than Acura now
I own a 2024 mdx 3 things need to be fix. 1 acceleration pedal to much vibration feed, 2 Bluetooth to slow same as my old 2017 mdx like 2 to 3 second delay, 3 tires they are super loud and have like a bump noise really weird i have driving 3 different mdx apec same noise, wat it sad is that they now but keep using does crapy tires.
That’s 70k for a Aspec no just no go get a types S instead or a CX-90
Looks beautiful for me would have been nice to have a true 7 passenger suv
pricing does not make sense when you can have a type S for a few more dollars that has a better engine and quicker transmision.
I’m buying the tlx type s as soon as they get rid of the touchpad
Touchpads and dials are lame. Touchscreens rule. ❤
still missing digital rear mirror and built in dash cam...
I’ve noticed the 2025 Acura MDX A-Spec Advance doesn’t come with SiriusXM. I recently looked at one. I was told SiriusXM can be streamed from an app.
It doesn’t come preinstalled but the system does come with the Google Play store and Siriusxm can be downloaded there
70k! Exterior is looking a little too busy and not premium enough. Don’t get me wrong there are nice design elements inside and out. The extensive use of piano black plastic inside is awful for the price. The Mazda cx90/70 beats this is every aspect and is 10k cheaper!
100% on the right
yeah. Apsec advance should use more gloss black not flat black.....even just advance package use better meterial than Aspec advance😅
I’m curious to know do you think this is better SUV than the GV80? Also both brands have switched to Bang & Olufsen, but which one sounds the best?
I have an audio test clip of the B&O in the GV80 in this video:
ruclips.net/video/KlEXNv6fHws/видео.html
In choosing between the two, it depends on your priorities. If you're more focused on having a more upscale and comfortable feeling vehicle, it would be the GV80. But if you are looking for the more reliable and more sensible option (but still having a nice upscale feel), MDX.
@@OpticalAutomotive thanks for your help! It’s been a hard decision deciding between the two. I will be driving the Type S as soon as my dealer has one.
Still not there yet.
Not a fan of the blk leather w red stitch. Do love the Urban Grey Pearl exterior. That said… can the mocha leather be paired with Urban Grey Pearl ?..
Only black or white are available with the Urban Gray
@@OpticalAutomotive Sorry to hear that… But tku for letting me know …
Is there anyway to upgrade my screen and keep the TouchPad? I spent 106k on my mdx after addons and taxes 😭
Not that I know of
Air vents 😂 fix the A/C system will not cool car 🚗 in very hot climate like Phoenix or. Vegas will not cool .😎
You mentioned it, but does it have SiriusXM radio?
It doesn’t come preinstalled but it’s available on the Google Play store which does come preinstalled. I meant to explain that but didn’t
@@OpticalAutomotive Available through a standalone app or via Android Auto/ Apple Carplay through a phone?
@@Topside27 It should work without your phone. The infotainment is an Android-based system and since it has the play store, that means it can download apps right onto the system. And there is a siriusXM app in the play store. This is my understanding, but I would double-check with a dealer.
@@OpticalAutomotive Thank you for your reply! I am very interested in this vehicle. Would you mind please confirming that I can download a standalone app through the new-built in Google based infotainment system. I'm all about new tech, but I don't want to give up my current SiriusXM functionality.
$70k! Dang
My 23 mdx was 106k after addons and taxes
How did that happen???
Does the wireless charger work now?
Didn't get the chance to use it :(
Hopefully it does because previously I had issues with it.
