This movie is particularly special to me because it was the first R-Rated movie my uncle ever took me to, AND it introduced me to the music of LCD Soundsystem. Great memories all around 😊
This was the first R rated comedy movie I ever watched, it was Friday night I was 14 and my friend was sleeping over we'd been playing games and eating chips etc. and I asked my mom and she said it was fine but it was the unrated version and she forgot how bad it was. I never laughed that hard ever or since and my friend would rewind it because he was laughing at my laugh and she came in right as the bathroom sex scene came on and I was still laughing, and when I asked my mom why she didn't stop it she said because she saw how happy I was and how hard I was laughing and decided to just let us finish the movie
I remember my first time watching this was family movie night I believe and we recently purchased it from some supermarket the entire family couldn't stop blastin out laughing 😂😂

Catalina Wine Mixer is a thing actually, but THANKS to this movie. I guess some rich people liked the idea, and now it's a yearly event. It's not a corporate party like this one, but more like, you can buy the tickets online for a summer vacation with a lot of activities. From what I read from their web page, they do screenings of the movie in a theater in one of the islands.
