    I really appreciate what you guys have accomplished over the last year. Time to geht the big enterprises switch to it.

    Absolutely amazing updates!! Now, please work on improving surface modeling and mesh modeling as well as thickening processes for both (or surface to solid / mesh to solid conversions). Specifically, it would be amazing if mesh and surface repairs were much easier. I can't tell you have many poorly modeled 3D models (surface and mesh) I have brought into Fusion 360 for repairs.

    Fusion 360 is a great tool but... those extensions have got out of hand. Too many things to pay. We will stick with the Autodesk Inventor.

    • @Robinlarsson83
      @Robinlarsson83 Год назад

      But do you or everyone in your team need all or even most of the available extensions?
      Sure, you can add extensions to make Fusion cost a good deal more than Inventor, but I'd guess that very few users actually do that, you only get the ones you need, and when you need them.

    Can we use arc length to dimension during creation now too? Or can it only be done after everything is designed?

    We have more than 500 customers on the basis of companies using Fusion 360 in Turkiye* (Old name Turkey). Of course there are many CAD-CAM solutions in this field. But when customers consider what they need on the go on their tough business journeys, the answer is to choose the technology that best suits the new changes and challenges. And the best of today may be the lagging technologies of tomorrow. For this reason, if we have to quit, we should be able to give up easily. In our opinion, Autodesk is one of the leading manufacturers that provides this flexibility to its customers with Fusion 360.
    As an Autodesk partner providing engineering services, we develop our services around Fusion 360's CAD CAM CAE PCB PDM PLM and Additive Manufacturing infrastructure.

      It's not really meant for large-scale professional use. It's clearly meant for hobbyists (they let you use it entirely for free if it's for hobby use) or prototyping and primarily seems geared toward 3D printing. It's not trying to replace Inventor, that's why that exists in the first place.

      @@nick15684 Did you see the video? They say F360 is good for professional drawings. I only say that this is not the case. Good to see that you see it that way, too.
      F360 is not for hobbyists only. I'm a paying subscriber. CAD/CAM integration is very good, other areas (drawings and overall UI) are far below industry and Autodesk standard.

    "When was the last time you used Autodesk Fusion 360 Drawings?" I remember around the beginning of 2017 I was dropped out of an interview when I tried to export a drawing in Fusion 360, despite my pretty good 3D modeling skills. After 5 years I accidentally watched this video and smiled. Silently glad I left the software after 3 years of struggling with them.

    Drawings work ok. What I really need is your iges files to be read by our laser tube cutter. The only workaround is to put it through another software and re-save it. Tedious, time consuming and enormously frustrating.

      @@annakquinn7084 Solidworks. But we draw in fusion. I have looked at what it is in IGS that the laser needs and I believe it needs nurbs that fusion doesn't output into. I think. I'm a bit dumb about all of this.
