I noticed pretty frequently how Ganon’s monsters feared and actively avoided Guardians. This can be especially observed in the Upland Zorana area when taking Mipha’s trial. During that time, there will be monsters camped out in the rocks there with several Skywatchers patrolling the area. One or two Watchers’ patrol routes fly pretty close to where the monsters camp and you can watch them from one of the high points as they frequently run in fear. Another interesting note is that this behavior is not present in Age of Calamity where both monsters and guardians are seen marching and fighting alongside one another. It’s probably changed so that players will be challenged to face both enemies together at once in a single battlefield.
Don't know how I missed that the Wolf was helping find items. I just thought he liked to run ahead and provoke Guardians or sleeping Hinoxes while I'm clearly in stealth mode.
I think scanning is not a problem if it's give you some really cool information other than health meter. That's metroid prime scanning system is fantastic.

Edit: I tested, turns out that the bad side effect from fact 1 is it makes it go down to 1 bonus heart.
It's a difference of pacing, BotW is more fast paced, so it would detract from gameplay, whereas looking at the stats of soldiers in MGSV is arguably one of the biggest aspects of the game and part of planning your attack on a compound.

something fun to try and do if you want another thing. you can actually crush guardians. in the temple to get the master cycle, there was a flying guardian that spawned and when i took it's propellers out, it landed in the giant moving gear and stopped the mechanism for a moment. then the guardian went from half HP to none.

Parrying fire chu chus was my discovery. I use this method fighting Lynels. Parry his attack, immediately drop a fire chu chu jelly and a pepper, lock on to the Lynel and Parry, you HAVE to lock on to the enemy in order to do it. It DOES work with lightning and water and ice chu chus. But you have to be wearing the right armor! Eat a shock buff, wear the rito set (unfreezeable) drop ice, water and thunder chu chus and it will create a thunder dome. You can also Daruk’s perfect parry them with a bomb I call it Daruk’s perfect storm!
The detail that went into this game is pretty mind boggling. Like, someone had to realise that skeletons don't have tongues then put in more code to remove that attack. Or the attack in the code is tied to the tongue and therefore doesn't trigger in skeletons. Either way, that takes incredible effort, planning and skill to pll way.
