Interested in following your build. I am in progress on a 70 Camaro build with a AM subframe, DSE inner tubs, Tremec T56 Magnum, Speedtech rear suspension. So far, I have installed a new firewall, DSE block off plate, Real Deal Steel tunnel, DSE tubs, rear quarters, tail panel, rear battery mount and raised the rear passenger floor area for exhaust clearance. Just getting ready to install the roll bar and Speedtech rear brace this week. Waiting now on the machinist for my LSX block work, going with a wet sump LS7. Good luck with your and looking forward to your progress.

That is a nice starting point, and it has the desireable door panels, if you do not use them they will bring some money,

I just bought a 73 Camaro LT, just like this one but mine is Dark Red instead of Green, the original 350 is there but the wop end is gone and the guy I bought it from was selling it from his Uncles Estate and said the car has sit outside for almost as long as he can remember and has no idea how long it's been sitting there like without the top end, I'm not taking any chances with that motor, I have a Old 307 out of a 83 Olds 88 that I got when my aunt passed away a couple years ago, the engine and trans was good but the rest of the car was shot, I'm just going to throw that 307 in it, why? because it's free and I'm not looking to build some Horsepower or Torque Monster, I just want something I can drive every day if want/have to, have fun with on the weekends taking to cruise-ins and Cars and Coffee's. I can use the money I would have spent on the engine and trans on the rest of the car. I'm also going change the paint, I'm going to paint it 2005 Pontiac Sunburst Orange and I'm going to put the black vinyl top on it also, mine didn't come with Rally wheels, it came with the plain steel wheels with the hubcaps, which is suprisingly still in the car. I'm going to pull the hubcaps off, clean the wheels up and repaint them black and throw a chome center cap and some chrome lug nuts on, Like I said, I'm not looking for a torque monster or some bad ass muscle car, I just want a cool classic car that I can drive but still have fun with on the weekends.

That 6060 Trans won't work. You can almost buy a new one for the same price that you would spend on modification of your current trans and not to mention the driveshaft cost also. That shifter is way to far back so the whole tail end of the transmission needs to be replaced and at the same time adding a splined output shaft. There kits out there. Good luck

Maybe they’re amateurs in disguise. Everyone wants to go LS. Be different, keep it stock.😂 HP on the street today is useless with the Cops compared to what we did in the late 60’s and early 70’s.

@@johnmilner7603 Everyone wants to go LS because it's the cheapest way to go now because GM made MILLIONS of them, you can go to a boneyard and pick up a LS and 5 speed auto trans with less than 150k miles for less than $800, But I do agree they should keep it stock, or close to it anyway. I just bought a 73 Camaro LT, just like this one but mine is Dark Red instead of Green, the original 350 is there but the wop end is gone and the guy I bought it from was selling it from his Uncles State and said the car has sit outside for almost as long as he can remember and has no idea how long it's been sitting there like without the top end, I'm not taking any chances with that motor, I have a Old 307 out of a 83 Olds 88 that I got when my aunt passed away a couple years ago, the engine and trans was good but the rest of the car was shot, I'm just going to throw that 307 in it, why? because it's free and I'm not looking to build some Horsepower or Torque Monster, I just want something I can drive every day if want/have to, have fun with on the weekends taking to cruise-ins and Cars and Coffee's.
