what if you are someone who doesn't have a switch. would you sooner get a switch 1, or get the s2?

S1 OLED at good price now, or be patient for S2 (OLED version later?) since it'll get games from S1 (except some).

At this point, I would wait for the 2

I'm extremely unimpressed by the Switch 2. So many things seem like a downgrade. I'm fine with the fact that they aren't doing anything new, but then why do some things seem like a downgrade.
regardless if it will break, why is there an outdated looking port on the side of the switch2 ? The original switch connected and charged the joy con without any visible connection which seemed futuristic and magical. 8 years later the connection port on the switch2 looks like a dated, joke, knock off. (it may seem dramatic but I feel like I entered an alternate dimension, or it's an April fools joke)
-The logo with the 2 looks stupid
-The extra button on the one side looks cluttered and ruins the symmetry of the original design
    - The Bezel is bigger and more uneven than the Oled model
I'm sure the switch 2 will be enough of a success because there are enough people who are excited about it, I doubt it will sell as well as the original. 🤞fingers crossed the Switch2 Oled isn't as dated and ugly looking. Hopefully they try harder next time.

I feel like you exaggerate mundane details to make them look terrible. Chill

@@pier5399 I feel exaggerating over mundane details is exactly what Nintendo apologists are doing rn. Most people are not excited about the hardware, me included. I don't need to chill I'm already bored.
Regardless if you think it's over exaggeration, The fact of the matter is that aesthetics are important to sell this device. There are a lot of competitors on the market, and more coming. If Nintendo wants to stand out it has to be more appealing to the eye. This system is stale and dated looking to me. If you can't handle other peoples opinions maybe you are the one who needs to chill.
