This is my favorite of all the Nw songs, this version in particular the voices of both fit perfectly. The version of Floor is not bad but it is more "soft", when Tarja sings is like a storyteller, all the drama of the song oh...is amazing for me 🖤

Loving your Band-Maid reactions. You should also check out Nemophila. Mostly I am waiting for more jinjer. "Teacher Teacher" is my favorite and the song "Home Back" is about their feelings on the war in their homeland of Ukraine. I recommend the official videos for these two. Tatiana is a vocal goddess and the musicians are second to none.
Hi Constanza! Nice to see you again! With another great End of an era song reaction, i like this conzert most from Tarja era. I like the song Ever Dream with both singers, Tarja and Floor. Did you mean the function Auto Play after the first time looking this song? I also turn off this funktion but sometimes did the next song start. I didn't hear the next song for many years but i know i like it, i think you never did an reaction from that song so i think it will be an first time hearing reaction, but maybe you remember about this song when you see what song it is and when you hear it next time, i don't write what it is, i remember after your first End of an era reaction you say you don't want to know what the next song is, right? The preference between Tarja or Floor varies according to personal taste. If you prefer a traditional metal belting vocal, then you might prefer Nightwish with Floor. If you like lyrical singing and gothic atmosphere, then you might prefer Nightwish with Tarja.
Think Floor is very lyrical....

Why isn't there a 3rd option: If you prefer it all.That's my option anyway. This fanbase is quite sad when it's divided.Also I'll give a 4th option: I prefer Tuomas.Now: Option 3 and 4 work well together. Simple concept to me.😃

Nice little jab you took on Tarja there. It's such fun. I'm assuming Tarja speaks 3 languages fluently but let's make funny remarks about her english accent. Also it annoys me how this fanbase is full of fans who claim they like Nightwish but are constantly comparing singers and putting Floor to a pedestal above the rest of the band and think Nightwish is valid only from 2012 when Floor joined. New generation of fanatics making a mess in this fandom.You feel me? I guess we are both annoyed.

Hi, I haven't reacted to him yet because no one has left me a link or suggestion to something new of his. I already know what he sounds like, and while I don't mind that, if I get a specific request for something of his I haven't heard yet I can do a reaction - so far though no-one has suggested something I haven't already heard. Sorry! But he's great, definitely with you on that!

You certainly look comfy there. Things I noticed included Marco singing at least one additional verse with Tarja than with Floor, and that Floor hit higher notes than Tarja on the final verse.
I love the softer high notes that Tarja can pull off and I love how Floor varies the verses with her contemporary style.

I'm gonna keep this comment only about Tarja, even though you spoke the current vocalist also. My fav Tarja's era albums are Oceanbown and Wishmaster, I didn't really fancy when they were changing Tarja's singing style to her last two albums. This concert is not my go to if I want to listen Tarja's singing (and I usually do). I hate the versions of Ghost Love Score and Sleeping Sun they played in this concert. Tarja's vocals are missing the usual richness she has: I think she sounds better in every 2004 and 2005 concrts I've heard. Yeah some of it is probably because of her flu, some because she got tired towards the end of the gig, maybe the big home arena or tension with the guys, I don't know. But not my fav concert. And now that other concerts have fan made remastered songs, this isn't best quality any more either.
I'm wondering Tuomas' live role playing during this song (and also "I wsh I had an Angel"). I'm wondering if it was planned and intentional, as he knows this concert was recorded and he wants to send a message to a certain someone. Or if those are actual real emotions. I'm thinking more likely the former choise.

It is one of my favourite songs with Tarja although this is not my favourite performance by her. This specific performance feels a bit overdone (to me) Tarja and Marko had a beauty and the beast thingie going on that worked just fine.

Nah, don't go there. I'm an old fan, so enjoy these a lot (and sometimes I feel so sad that we don't have this line-up anymore), but Floor did/does a great job with all these old songs, and on some days, I even enjoy some of them more. On this song, I just don't like her ending, because it starts to sound yelling for me. I know, that if I was there at live, I would have enjoyed it, but on recording it starts to annoy a bit.
@@NightwishArena Floors version is good also, But I agree with you about the ending of the song, Also in my ears Floors voice is little bit strained and sounds like yelling. Tarja sings this song with such ease.

I think all the real NW fans do keep this the one and only right version and best performance. All the others are more all less fakes.
Wacken Open Air 2013 concert version might be better.
That's great! Go watch it for the umpteenth times. A band with +25 years of history has more to offer than Wacken 2013.
Wacken isn't better. It's just a different, lovely interpretation of a very beautiful song.
