    Emppu fist bump with Floor after the final high note. And then you can read his lips: "Madame!"
    At least that's what I think he says.
    Kai - the human metronome.
    Marko's bass in this version!
    Floor's voice sounds fuller, a little darker than in Wacken.

    As Floor has said every performance of GLS is different. The 2018 Buenos Aires ending Crescendo is different and really good, then a hysterical payback with Empuu. Just watch it if you get the chance. Good to see you again Constanza!

    If you haven't seen it, you should watch the Buenos Aires (2018) version of this. The ending is one of most epic I have ever seen. Just amazing.

      Yeah, Floor really struggled through the song but just smashed the ending note - her reaction and Emppu tells the story.

    Thank you Constanza. While many praise the Wacken concert version and that’s good .... of course. You could say that changed my life, like many others. But Floor’s charisma, self-confidence here, and the other members of the band put it to the best of my opinion that this is epic. The level of recording, even the mixing of the concert is so successful that it goes to my favorite of these versions.

    You can tell how much Floor loves this song.
    There are lots of differences everytime and omg the
    second virtual concert was masterful and without the audience.
    Just imagine what will happen in their first concert.

    Edit. Remember that Wacken-13 was built for 82,000+ peoples, those PA towers, all Amplifiers, lights...etc, put that all in Wembley 😂 Roof off...of cource they Sound different 🤘

    Many variations, you are correct. Floor is always looking for ways to sing that is new, and is improving on the notes sung. Better choices for saving that magical voice.

    As much as we all adore the Wacken 2013 version, you can really hear how Floor's voice and singing had matured by this performance. Even something as simple as the way she attacks each note. She's noticeably more polished.

      Funny you should say that. I actually prefer the 2013 version, because she still has the raw traits of Revamp and After forever. Of course, if she was still singing like that, we may not have got to the magnificence of Human:ll:Nature.

      @@gregjetnikoff7124 two really good points on your part. For me it's probably because I did years of classical voice so it's more natural for me to lean that way. The main thing is, she's here and we are very fortunate.

      @@craigramsay53 I take the point of Elizabeth Zahroff. She said Floor voice was more "classical" at Wacken and here it is more "operatic". I defer to The Charismatic Voice. I should point out here, that is dislike "operatic" tone, particularly in women. It seems to be designed to make women sound like pre pubsecnt boys rather than women. My take on it anyway. Not surprising when you think that all early "saprono" roles were actually written for boys/castrati, I suppose. No real excuse for it today IMHO, but that is my opinion only.

    So...immediately noticed more vibrato in Floor's voice...Marko's bass had a tad more "funk" to it (parts)...Emmpu was similar to previous concerts...and finally.. Kai may not have the "flair" that Jukka played with..but hot damn...he owned those drums!
    This sounded more "Live" than Waken...different but not better..🤔..Still waiting for some windmilling from you..ok..maybe a single windmill would work..😉

      Yes, I think it was at Graspop in 2016 where Marko also had some funky bass licks on GLS.

    That's a different mix, Marco's bass, extra special,
    "New" drummer Kai (a friend of Jukka).
    Marco and Emppu standing with Tuomas, at different times.
    Floors extra twiddly bits!
    Emppu at the end fist-bumps with Floor :)
    There are no "musts", it's your channel.

    Every end of GLS is slightly different when checking live performances but all are so good...But here we have some mystic,supernatural case.
    If you stop video at time 15.04 and then look frame by frame forward, you can see how Goddess of Rock have a short visit from other dimension to Floors body and then shows her face of Goddess to the crowd. At same time when lifting her arm towards to the crowd, you can hear telepathic message "You all mortals,come to me and enjoy this music".....I am very sure that this is the case!

    I like the contrast between versions, and to me in this one, it is noticeable that Floor uses a more classical voice with more frequent embellishment into operatic tones, then at that last note, already high enough that most were stunned by it at Wacken, she adds a flourish by taking it up another 4th for a moment.
    It's a shame the acoustics at Wembley are so dreadful. The original function of the building as the Olympic swimming pool still echoes there.

    I don't think the newcomer gets a true picture of the volume of their capability from GLS. You don't get the growl and heaviness of Ghost River or Romanticide, the folkiness of My Walden or The Islander or indeed the light airiness of sections of Poet and the Pendulum (Pacific and Mother & Father).
    Still, a good intro.

    Ever since I started listening to NW I've become sort of a critic of the ways Floor sings GLS cause I know now that she likes to switch and change the style of her voice and by far, the only version I fully like it's the one from Wacken, to me, these other versions sometimes sound a bit screechy and aren't my favorites to listening to, especially on the "Floorgasm" tone
