- DIY PART 1 - Building a roof for my Humvee.
This video documents me building the roof for my HMMWV. I go through the planning and thoughts behind it and then move on to fabricate the side rails and struts and then show the Roof panels being delivered.
I ordered the Roof panels from a local Steelworks company. Sent them my diagram and requirements. Race City Steel in Denver, NC They are awesome, I'd highly recommend them.

@@str8jacket07 well I’ll say this. Since I bought my HMMWV, I’ve spent a total of 8k on it to get it to where it is now, not including my labor (of love) of course. And including tons of electronics and stuff sitting in boxes that I haven’t installed yet. 😅

What model Hmmwv do you have. I have the M1123 and cut it 70 but it looks like it’s 5 inches to short.
M998A1. But every humvee differs by a couple inches since the a, and c pillars are slightly movable
