Synthesizers are definitely undervalued, they're giving endless possibilities to create new sounds that human had ever in history. I love electronic music.
synths are awesome. I own a m1 ( sn 30 273 ) that need some love. I have been in electronic music for the last 7 years, and , while I still somewhat enjoy black metal, I cant turn my back on synth, music production, techno, house, ect..

Great sequence. What an amazing synth. I can imagine how much work it was to put this sequence together, but it would be really awesome to see you do the same with other famous synths of the 80s and early 90s...

Congratulations! A selection of patches really nice. But I must say that the patches themselves are useless without a good musician, who knows how to play like you. Very good!
This instrument not only looks beautiful but the selection of sounds is really extensive, and very high quality, and with deep programming capabilities. So what that there's no filter resonance? I get best results on my D-50 with resonance down.
can you tell me wich prog use?what is the progs of Song 0,56, 1.26, 1,44, 1,50, 2,10, 2,18, 2,49, 3,10, 3,20, 3,30, 5,01, 5,21, 5,30, 5,49, 6,18 and 6,54? thanks
But the Korg M1 isn't a synthesizer, it's a rompler. All sounds are built in. You can't make your own. You can combine presets (stack them up) and add fx but that's it.
What is the organ 3:50 onwards used by Living joy and a lot of other tracks from that era ? I have the M1 and I can't find anything resembling that ...
It’s one of the organ presets. It’ll be there somewhere if not go into the banks and find a romper wave that resembles it and double it up with the second wave
@@seeyouintheeighties Thanks , I'll have another look & listen ! I went through all the banks , concentrating on the Organ variations . There are some "close" presets but can't nail the right one ! I even loaded up the M1 VST and had a listen with more or less same failure 🤣. I'll heed your advice on the rompler! Thanks again :)
That house organ still send chills up my spine after all these years!
quite possibly the best patch ever
oh yeah, 2 years after your comment, STILL kicks sum serious .... :)
5 years after and still true
8 years on and still chilling.
10 years and still pumping.

M1 is such a beast of a work station, I could listen to the organ patch all day!
Urban Cookie Collective: goosebumps everywhere! WOW!!!! One of my favourite 90's classics of all time!
My favorite is livin joy - dreamer. Takes me back to the nightlife in Canada in the late 90’s
I just realized how many tunes / songs were possible with this keyboard / instrument, although musically very simple, it was an influence over generations, in my teen days I got crazy with that music, and always trying to mimic the sounds on a Yamaha Keyboard without too much success...
regards!
This video took me right back to the late 80's/early 90's, and I am HERE for it. Nailed the Robin S. particularly....DAMN!!!
This has to go down with the TB303 as one of the most influential instruments in electronic music.
Many thanks for the up!
Don't forget TX81z: LatelyBass (preset C15)!!!
what a player 😀
So cool to see this now I bought my own M1!
organ 2 is THE sound
the organ dance sound is just unbeatable! thanks for sharing!
The korg M1 IS one of the BIGGEST new beat trancemission style synths
great performance. fun to hear all this famous song being played on the great korg m1

Nice clockwork orange
4:13 ❤❤ u gotta make the full thing
About 90% of these sounds are NOT on the m1 I bought. Anyone know where to get the expansions?

Korg m1 is underrated these strings are of a m1 also Sigma - Paroxyms combi mode
Great sequence. What an amazing synth. I can imagine how much work it was to put this sequence together, but it would be really awesome to see you do the same with other famous synths of the 80s and early 90s...
I was thinking your hands are battered from playing M1 so much lol.
didn't wonder about your hands at all. Awesome tunes you are playing :)

Livin Joy - Dreamer (Opening Melody/Intro Synth)
90s is the must the best music ever
Some nintendo games used sound patches from the M1. I recognize a few of them used in Super Mario 64.
Ofcourse. do you really think Nintendo created Mario without popping a couple of E.
Mr Spectacals
Correct, dire dire docks was one of them
NICE! Thanks for posting this!
2:28 Show Me Love
ROCKS
+Milad Broghani you rock thnx!
+Milad Broghani Hell yeah! One of the best songs from 90s house music! :D
Milad Broghani Kid Ink-show me
sends shivers down my spine.
You left out the MK "Dub of Doom" remix of the Nightcrawler's "Push the Feeling On" :)
ah man i need one of these. Producing Nu-Disco would be a real treat.
Excellent demo; thanks!
The track at 1.50 was Tiesto's Lethal Industry. Great playing as well!
You're actually the first person who doesn't play just pads/strings
_"1.50 a trance track i cant remember"_ = Tiesto - Lethal Industry.
best synth of the century... I love its sounds, mnay popular songs used it, my opinion...
6.23 clockwork orange theme... the best ..
1:50 - Tiesto, LETHAL INDUSTRY!!!
great demo!!!!....i hope find these sounds in my digital version of the M1!!!!
Congratulations! A selection of patches really nice. But I must say that the patches themselves are useless without a good musician, who knows how to play like you. Very good!
Brilliant brilliant work
great demo! very nice sounding machine.
There was "What is Love (Organ Cover)".
This instrument not only looks beautiful but the selection of sounds is really extensive, and very high quality, and with deep programming capabilities. So what that there's no filter resonance? I get best results on my D-50 with resonance down.
Whats the list of the presets? I'd like to find them!
Nice for inspiration 😃❤
1:09 Toytown XD. I'm gurning just listening to it .
can you tell me wich prog use?what is the progs of Song 0,56, 1.26, 1,44, 1,50, 2,10, 2,18, 2,49, 3,10, 3,20, 3,30, 5,01, 5,21, 5,30, 5,49, 6,18 and 6,54?
thanks
Great remember ! You've just missed the coco jambo flute.
great riff collection!
these sounds are not all M1 original presets I believe.....I have M1.are they from expansion card ?
Nice sounds! :)
Nice playing :)
M1 таки классный синтезатор!👍🏻
just AWSOME !!!
thanks ive been trying to find out chords for like electro-funk and indie dance i think and those seem to have a little of those qualities.
nice x. took me back.
Outstanding programming! I wish the ram and/or factory cards were cheaper, I don't want to lose the classics by saving my own patches over them :(
0.42: something i made up...0.58: grace - not over yet...4.28: Felix - Don't you want my lovin...
Привет от лонгплея!
Nice job. The sounds around 2 minutes in would work in the right dance mix.
I forget how iconic it's sounds were.
I. WANT. THISSSSSSSSS.
Amazing I want an M1
3:40 on is definitely sampled from the CZ organ
ApolloSynths and 4:13
Great stuff, bravo
The trance track is Lethal Industry and the classical track is Canon in D, if I'm not mistaken.
Great stuff love it!!
Great sounds
Gorgeous.
amazing programming
Hi is there any chance of obtaining the patches you made?
Cheers! :)
What a great video !!! Just got a M1, would be great if you could do a tutorial of how you created some of these patches :)
Sounds awesome! The M1 is really a classic. What's the name of the 99 Luftballlons patch that you used? It was spot on.
Would have be even better if you'd told us the names of the presets in your description.
MrLewisbate damn lol 😂
Jon Vincent but most aren’t presets, this thing can be modified you know
@seeyouintheeighties Fair shout, I assumed they were mostly presets.
Are all these sounds in the $49 VST version?
But the Korg M1 isn't a synthesizer, it's a rompler. All sounds are built in. You can't make your own. You can combine presets (stack them up) and add fx but that's it.
08:19 I love it 💓
Robert Miles - Children makes on Kurzweil K2000
Blessed be the synthesized🙌🏾🤍
awesome job
As a new M1 player i really liked the improv at 1.27 what kind of settings or u using for this? Sounds great! Thx.
nice playing

Korg relesed software VST of that synth just google Korg Legacy Collection and you will have that sounds on any midi keyboard.
Great set of sounds and some famous ones in there. 2013 video though... recorded on a potato? :D
1:51 MC Пох здесь
Absoutly brilliant video, have you anymore videos covering classic synths and what songs were made?
I like what you did with Luniz
It would be great if you could put the preset name next to the song!
Yes please do this!
Yes, was hoping patch names would appear during the segments.
I know this video is old, but I need to know if you snuck in the rugrats theme there or if I'm going crazy!
theglurgle snuck it in ;)
With sounds on 3:40 sounds also Party in the getto
6:06 whitney houston track is "it's not right but it's ok"
