So I knew exactly how unforgiving the engines are attheir tightest. That's also probably the reason I like Guitar Hero and Rock Band content over Clone Hero content.
I’m definitely more of an old school if that’s the comparison lmao. I will occasionally randomly tap the frets before a song begins though, I think it’s more to prepare myself for the song though rather than anything flashy… but on a song like this, maybe not? The back and forth section is a lot easier the “old school” way, that’s for certain.
I don't consider the handful of super high level people in this camp if that makes a difference lol. Specifically just those that think flashiness and tapping simple stuff is crazy.
Just so some people are aware, some players do just rake because they play at a higher speed which on GH would be called hyperspeed. Some songs require raking in order to hit all the notes at such an insane speed which you can't do on older guitar hero games since you need to be more precise but some people who want "flashy" plays just do it on incredibily simple stuff like this. People like Acai are old school they just play songs incredibily fast hence the raking but there are many "flashy" players out there that do what was done in this video. Question about your custom guitars though; Are there places that you do not ship to?
I can technically ship anywhere if someone pays for the shipping costs. But I really only ship to US and Canada because most people don't want to/can't pay for the extreme shipping rates in some places.
Hyperspeed doesn't change how fast you have to hit the notes at all. If you play with Hyperspeed, the fretboard scrolls faster, so the notes are spread out more in order to compensate for that. How fast the song is is entirely up to the song itself, not Hyperspeed.

Guitar praise neck on an lp lol. It was supposed to be an XP neck because those frets are too legit but it looked really silly. So this was a proof of concept if you will
That "new school clone hero player" technique is not even new anymore when compared to the crazy technique or spam they have now lol That tapping technique has been used since prime Guitar Hero era. Eventhough we rarely used it as it's not necessarily.

I'm not sure how current builds do their colors, like if there are preset choices or anything like that but I did it all custom myself and ill list the color values just because below. if you played this particular song on the original engine, the second take straight up doesn't combo because it cares about hitting too many notes

This is accurate. I rely a lot on elbow strumming and tapping because my one handing is crap
To be fair, elbow strumming is a necessary skill even for old school players, but new ones tend to over use some of that for tapping

What really bothered me is the alt strums on notes that are so slow its unnecessary.
It also bothers me when I see majority of everyone new to the game doing the same lol
