Around 1:00 you can see a lot of ground fire ... very little tree-to-tree ignition ... it’s all coming from the layer of flash fuels left by decades of mismanagement. Ironically, over-zealous fire prevention over decades has exacerbated the flash fuels accumulation

Cause with a fire of this size thats what they do! Its a political shit show! Cant do this! Cant do that! All in the name of safety.Your pretty safe when you dont do anything. Its become a joke really.Oh and for the record this one started on the 4th of July and they never touched it when it was less than an acre for over a week. Also for the record I was one of them I spent 4 years on a hotshot crew, two on a fire engine, and two more on a fire dozer like in the video. We called it the forest circus for a reason.Once they get going this good you cant do anything anyway the fire just blows over you.

Well if we just had a million water tanker firetrucks, conveniently stored not too many miles away, and some nice wide fire access roads, we could do something? Of course not only would that not be affordable, but the lefties would squander the money on something far more stupid.
And to get a million firefighters, they would really be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Can you imagine a bunch of urban yuppies, who know not much about anything, traipsing around all over the forest? We would be too busy rescuing them to have much time to do anything about the fire.
Hey, I got it. How about a trillion plastic squirt guns. Maybe that could work?

Actually, the fire started on July 4th from lightning and where it was burning was inherently dangerous to placing crews there due to possibility of entrapment and death and so it was placed on monitor status and blew up a few days ago. That fire in its early stages was not worth being burned over for out in the middle of bum-fucking-Egypt.

Perhaps I have no idea what I'm talking but that is still way more than the guy who claims a governor of 2.5 years is responsible for what is going on in our forest lands, most of which are managed by the Federal Gov't and claims that poor forest management is the soul reason why we have the fire behavior we are seeing despite the fact the problem applies to areas not forested (which is a lot of the state) and areas that have already been thinned either by burning or logging or other human-based practices.
