I'm having an issue with my brother pe800 bobbin stitch constantly showing on top. It works for a few orders and back to the bottom stitch showing on top😠
Ciera B I’m having the opposite problem mine is a loopy mess underneath no bob in thread at all I have adjusted up and dow until I can see some bobbin thread in bottom but mostly I’m still seeing top thread underneath what am I doing wrong
Also if I want to have the letter in the phrase I want to put in the hat all different colors how would I do that? I will need a usb if I want to embroider my own phrase?
Oooooh you worked at CNN-no wonder you have a perfect video voice! Such a very helpful video, and so nicely done. I’ve been dithering back and forth for months but I am sold on this as my starter machine. Thank you!!
On the bottom right of the display screen there is a needle with a -/+ symbol. This allows you to go back or forward by individual stitches or whole spools. If my thread breaks I like to go back a couple stitches. Hope this helps!
I am super excited. When I first saw the PE800 I thought to myself I have to have it. My birthday was 3 days ago and what a surprise when the door bell rang it was my Beautiful machine. My husband and kids bought it for me. So far I've read the manual, watched videos and purchased enough thread for my project. I also own Brother sewing machine and I am very pleased with it. Thank you for all the information.
I've had the SE400 for years and just ordered the PE800. After doing my research your video was what made me decide to go with this model. Will still be using my SE400. I thought about the PE900 but just couldn't justify to myself spending over $400 more because it's wireless. Thanks for the video.
Thanks so much, Jennifer. I’ve had mine for 2 months, and I’m afraid to open the box!! But I have every possible accessory that I will need whenever I get the nerve to unbox and turn on.🤣 Please do more!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am new to Embroidery and I want to make it a business! I just got my PE800. I’m soo excited about learning everything I can!...
Thanks Jen! I just purchased a PE800 and cannot wait to try it. I wanted to watch a few videos on how to use the machine and you covered everything in all your videos I wanted to know. I have a Brother sewing machine and this is very similar in threading the machine. Thank you for your videos and LOVE them!
Hey there! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice note. First off, I'm jealous you have an F150 - I've always wanted to drive a pickup perhaps someday that will be a reality. I've personally had great experiences with Brother machines and they are one of the more affordable brands. I did not expect to be such an enthusiastic user of an embroidery machine, but unlike my Cricut Expression currently collecting dust, I am using the HELL out of the PE800. Need a quick gift? Embroider some cute designs or monograms on towels. Seriously, it has been my most used machine of the past 3 months.
@@SewingReport I have always loved the Brother sewing machines. I have used my mom's Singer machine from 50 years ago and that thing is a BEAST! I tried an updated and newer Singer and just hated it. The quality was terrible and the machine needed repairs after 3 months (I use my sewing machine daily). I went back to Brother and have never looked back. By the way...I LOVE my trucks! This is my 6th truck and once you drive a truck, you never go back to a car. Thank you again for the great videos!!
This was such an amazingly thought out and informative video! I was very interested in these embroidery machines and you’ve definitely sold me on this model!
Compare the prices BEFORE purchasing! I was lucky enough to buy mine during Walmart’s ‘Pre-Black Friday’ Sale for $509.99! Can’t wait to start exploring this machine...look out close family members, you may get bombarded with embroidered gifts, ‘just because’, lol!
You worked on CNN that’s why you talk so amazing on camera! Lol that’s awesome! Thank you for the review on this machine 💕 I have a sewing/embroidery but I’ve been looking into only embroidery for a size update and now I’m excited 😅
Great review, considering purchasing for my wife and after seeing your video, I just may use it myself. lol, thanks again, great information, great video footage.
Thank you for sharing this video!!! I was so on the fence with purchasing this machine. There were no videos that I could find on the internet to give me a good idea of how the machine works. I've seen ones for the older model but I wasn't interested in that. The screen looks bigger and it's in color. I don't have very good eye sight and I need something that I can see clearly. So again, thank you for this very informative video!
Thank you so much! Just received my PE 800 and I’m a bit nervous about beginning! Your video helped me to begin my embroidery journey. Let the fun begin!!
I, too, had a Brother SE400 but too time consuming changing from sewing to embroidery. I thank you for doing this video and your comments on the PE800 which I have been considering. I belong to some military organizations and our members have asked who can embroidery names, titles, etc. on uniforms and hats and no one sewed. I have been sewing for years on and off but recently am drawn to this particular model. It's fun to make embroidered kitchen towels for gifts and cute embroidered tops and jeans and tees. I keep checking prices hoping to break down and purchase one of these...one day.
Keep an eye out on Amazon around Black Friday / holidays - last year there was a significant discount on the Brother PE800 and I almost regretted buying mine a few months earlier.
This was extremely helpful! I have a brother quilting machine and have been thinking about getting an embroidery machine, but I don’t want to break the bank buying one. I can’t wait to watch your other videos!
No bThanks for your review of this nice machine. You helped me get over my fear of buying an embroidery machine. I look forward to seeing more of your videos too. God bless
Thank you for sharing I’m searching for an embroidery machine to purchase just unsure which one after watching your video I’m really considering this Brother PE800
Thank you very much, for sharing this video! I bought this machine and was intimidated when I first opened it. I’ve never touched a sewing machine before. So I put it back in the box and let it sit there for weeks. Until today I came across your video and finally decided to give a try. Thanks a lot !
I learned on #4 of threading the bobbin, I put the empty bobbin on b4 winding, loop the thread around about 3 times, and use the thread cutter noted on #4 on the machine. No holding the thread!!! You probably figured this out already. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for making this video PE800 , I am late to the party just starting of with the model Brother LB6800 and I purchased PED Basic card writer will give it a try and think about the model you discuss 😚🙌👌
I like your machine I'm looking to start a retirement business of some kind to help my social security this along with my industrial sewing machine is a good idea also love you are very very articulate
Super excited to finally use it, I got this machine it's been sitting in my garage due to my regular workload. Thank you so much for doing this video, super helpful and you are so easy to follow!
I love this, thank you. I want to get one to do business and your Video has given me confidence since am a beginner and have never used a sewing machine. Thank you so much. Will keep writing wen I get one . Am from Uganda-East Africa.
Thank you for creating these videos. I purchased my machine in September and I've hardly used it. I'm excited to learn more about the machine and it's features. My real struggle has beem properly hooping the material and interfacing. Any tips and tricks on tbat topic will be greatly appreciated. Pat
Enjoy that machine Pat! I've done quite a few videos with various projects and share how I hoop and which stabilizers I prefer. ruclips.net/p/PLDeCt6WqT8q3g1yaM_zXIPcvwtJcBplre
Thank you. Was hoping you would be running through changing colors in the design in the machine - so far I am just frustrated and trying to work my way through to totally understand and do it correctly.
I just love your video you did a great job is making some one who was thinking about buying the machine to making a definite decision to buy this model.
So happy to hear you found it helpful! Buying a machine is a big decision and many of us like to do as much research as possible and check out reviews. Enjoy your embroidery machine!
I have a question rather than a comment, but as a comment I love your videos and lessons. I have been using my brother PE800 for about a year now, and I still can't seem to be able to embroidery t-shirts without having the material pull from the stitches. I lowered my tension to 1.2 even and it still pulls. I use cut away stabilizer that feels pretty thick. I know I am doing something wrong, can you please tell me what it is? TIA
Hello. Loved ur video, it was very helpful. Im interested in buying this specific machine, the price is good but i have some questions and i have noone to ask. Im not a fan of sewing but this is a whole. Different machine. So is iylt easy to learn how to use it? Despite if it looks easy. Also where we can find some products? Is there any website that u can buy things for embroidery and other materials? And my last question is, when u embroidery the design u need to have the white "paper" in the back of the cloth? Looking forward for your reply 🙏🏻✨
Hi Jen! I'm wanting to purchase a Brother Embroidery Machine. Do you have any tips or tricks to purchasing discounted sewing machines over the holiday season? How to find deals? Where to look? Thank you!
This video was very thorough in terms of terms of basic machine function but I was hoping to find out if it's difficult to guide the machine. If I need to turn the canvas for example and if the machine prompts me to do so.
I love your videos and your channel! You speak "english" instead of "sewing" language and explain things so well which is so helpful for those of us who learn on the fly and through youtube, trial and error and don't always know all the lingo. I pick up quick but don't always know the words for what I'm doing! I have really wanted an embroidery machine but thought I had to spend a couple grand to get something good so I'm excited to try this! This one is a reasonable price! Thank you for the clear and awesome review. I'll try to make sure I buy through your link if I decide to get one :) Do you have a video on using the software if you want to design something yourself? Also, if you are wanting to do something bigger than 5x7 can you use this machine to piece together the embroidery and do it in sections?
There will be a video coming out Thursday about getting designs digitized via people on Etsy, but I don't personally plan on doing my own digitizing as the software is expensive (think $1,000+) and I wouldn't use it enough to justify. You can do things like borders or continuous designs (I don't think you can just blow up a design and hoop in sections), but it looks quite tedious to get that "just right" and line the fabric in the hoop perfectly. Not something I've attempted yet, not sure I will either...
Thank you for this video. I had no idea that home embroidery only machines existed. While brother is not my go to machine for sewing and quilting. I think this PE 800 is just what I'm looking for to make monograms. The price seems right to me. Because I don't want to purchase features I already have on my Husqvarna Viking. Thanks again.
Hi I'm looking into machines and it looks like a lot of the Brother ones are great. Do you know what software I need to make my own designs? How much it is? And if it's compatible with all machines that have a plug in USB? Thank you so much!
Hi, just saw your great video! Question: Does it tell you when to change the thread color?I can't figure out how it does the designs with multi colors, like your flowers. Thank you in advance!
I cannot find the Embroidex Embroidery Machine Starter Kit anywhere. My Brother PE800 will be delivered next week and I want to be ready to go! Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance. You gave me the confidence to make this purchase and dive it!
Sorry to hear that, with everything going on a lot of products are becoming harder to find. I don't have other recommendations but do link everything I use in the description box and on kit.co/sewingreport
Hello. Great video. Do you recommend this for a small scale custom t shirt business? Hows the volume? For example, how many left chest embroidery logos can this do a day?
Thank you so much for this video. Im new to the sewing and embroidery industry as I am looking into getting an embroidery machine. I have a question why didn’t you change out the bobbin when you changed out the thread? Thank you again
Because it's on the back of the item, so doesn't typically matter what color the bobbin thread is. The back will just have the color of your bobbin thread (ie: all white or all black). If that matters to you, you can change it out but a lot of embroiderers don't.
IS there another embroidery machine you can recommend around $1,200 or less that can hold more colours so it's not switching them out constantly while using multi color designs?

Want to see more videos on brother PE800 embroidery machine.. I want to start a business from my home.😢
I notices the 🚫 sign, should I be worried about that? Thanks for sharing, gives me more hope to getting one soon. ☺ love to hear back. Thank you.
TIA
Love the video!! what format are your own designs for the machine to recognize them as something to make?
Great video, just what I needed. I’m so excited to start. Thank you😃😍
Thank you Jennifer

Hi Jen! I'm wanting to purchase a Brother Embroidery Machine. Do you have any tips or tricks to purchasing discounted sewing machines over the holiday season? How to find deals? Where to look? Thank you!
I really enjoy the embroidery info videos!
Thank you so much Kelley - appreciate you watching!!!
This video was very thorough in terms of terms of basic machine function but I was hoping to find out if it's difficult to guide the machine. If I need to turn the canvas for example and if the machine prompts me to do so.
great and helpful video!!!
Thanks to your video I will buy this one instead of the Brother NS1150e
Great machine great video. Thanks
Your eyeshadow matches the machine too 😊
This is amazing! Love it! 🤩
I love your videos and your channel! You speak "english" instead of "sewing" language and explain things so well which is so helpful for those of us who learn on the fly and through youtube, trial and error and don't always know all the lingo. Thank you for the how to video! I am looking at a floor model from a local dealer (about $450). We are looking to expand our home business...
Hello fantastic video! How does the custom designs work? I mean if I drew my own design, scanned it, and put it on the usb how would that work?
Thank you for this video. I had no idea that home embroidery only machines existed. While brother is not my go to machine for sewing and quilting. I think this PE 800 is just what I'm looking for to make monograms. The price seems right to me. Because I don't want to purchase features I already have on my Husqvarna Viking. Thanks again.
As of October 2020... it sells for upwards of $1000. Totally missed my shot last year haha
8:15 When you change the colors, does the machine automatically go back to where it was in the design? You don't have to manually adjust anything?
Does the PE800 embroidery machine show the picture and color chart for purchased embroidery patterns?
Thanks! Great video! I feel exactly the same, didn't think i needed one.
Hi I'm looking into machines and it looks like a lot of the Brother ones are great. Do you know what software I need to make my own designs? How much it is? And if it's compatible with all machines that have a plug in USB? Thank you so much!
I touch a bit on that topic in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZEXr9XeWIHI/видео.html
Hi, just saw your great video! Question: Does it tell you when to change the thread color?I can't figure out how it does the designs with multi colors, like your flowers. Thank you in advance!

Great video👍 are you able to put these designs on clothes? And are you able to make the designs bigger and smaller?

Does beep for you when to change the threads to a different color or do you have to keep an eye on it?
Thank you much I have question plz can I use any pic I can print from the computer or not?
Great tutorial! Can you embroider caps with the machine?
very good video, well explained

Thank you for teaching
Thank you for sharing ❤
I do a lot of detailed embroidery for the PE800. What needles do you use or recommend?
IS there another embroidery machine you can recommend around $1,200 or less that can hold more colours so it's not switching them out constantly while using multi color designs?
What kind of thread I need for this and wondering how to transfer you own design to be able to used it on the machine
