Express LRS is on open source long range radio link that is insanely good for very little cost. The module will run 35$ from betafpv and tiny receivers with ceramic antenna for as little as 10$ each. eLRS is the future of FPV radio link.

I'd be cautious about that betafpv module though

I'm getting my first 3D printer this week and looking for this type of great guidance to start printing my own parts and hopefully getting something to fly at some point. :D

This is going to cost as much as a prebuilt drone. Still very intriguing to me, got my 3D printer coming in next month.

Hello is it possible to make a survey drone. Or am I better off just buying a dji phantom. Just trying to see what is cheaper and available. I'm currently learning all the specs.

If you countered it with a weight to stop vibration then it's totally doable, you'd just need to up the throttle or maybe even over power your motor kv, as in run 2400kv on a 6s pack.
