awesome design! and good tips throughout the video!
Great vid... Gonna go and give this a try...
this is rad thx
Hey that's pretty cool
❤
I've read somewhere that PP is a very durable material to print drone frames with. Although, that was a racing/freestyle drone without much additional payload.
Deadcat style frame
Thats called a deadcat design, BTW.
Why don't you use ELRS ? Open source project for reliable control link
ELRS also have a long range that might be very useful for a project like this. It's also really easy to flash, install and use.
Nice ida, try blender for this project, a new cad addon was released recently!
I saw the cad plugin for blender. I want to try it
Tribvtes from germany
Man money is short....
Wish soon i can get a printer.
Any advices ,resin better AT 300/400€$?!
Resin is fantastic for models but it's terrible for things like drone frames, it is very rigid and has very little impact resistance. It would shatter on the first crash. Ideally you'd want a printer that could print polycarbonate filament, so around 300C. I've modified my Creality Ender 3 for about the price range you're looking at to print very well at that temperature range.
broth~ Like~epic -taalk you later! 😊
a video about creating a frame is equivalent to a video about how to place a box of crayons on the table imo. sure its a necessary precondition for something potentially really cool, but there is no intellectual meat to it outside of general cad knowledge.
the real skinny is:
how do you match your driver, battery, and motors?
how do you protect your components from spiking voltage?
how do you determine the relative position of the drone to its remote control and to the ground?
collision detection??
@@Glytch awesome, i somehow missed the earlier videos. ty
man pls hack5 your haircut
p/s cool video tho
