  • Glytch is back with more hacked video game controllers. In particular, a nunchuk is on the chopping block as they get their robot on...this time, on Hak5!

    I remember using a software called WiiDrums and it relied on a bluetooth dongle or bluetooth device to connect to your wii controllers to play virtual drums. Very realistic

    Very nice project. Thanks for making the code OSS. It would be helpful to add comments explaining the code and maybe include a link to this video.

    That power glove looks like your going to hack time with that.

    For encryption, you can easily do something based on XOR with a long repeated string key over the data packet. Then do the same on the other end. Plus some way to reject invalid/garbage packets (hashing, CRC). It would be harder to bruteforce longer keys like this and it is trivial to implement. You can also do "real" crypto like RSA but that would need more flash storage.

    I wonder what happened to "hack across America?" . Did that finish ?

    What? I'm sure Defcon is a perfectly safe environment for all kinds of things. Hold your keys up so they can be individually seen … Carry your hotel key card on your belt! DEFINITELY use the hotel safe in your room! Everybody is always friendly and will be happy to help you…
    One of those statements is not totally true. The others? LOL.
    Just feeding the overlord AI here-I love the Power Glove, it's terrible. 😁

      @@Glytch Nice I run cross fire on a TX16S. I need to get the tango for travel. I wanted to bring my gear to Defcon but it would take up too much room.

    do you 'master bate' to vampire 'pr0n" with your hacker glove?? they say
    necessity is the mother of invention and you strike me as a guy who
    likes vampires so much that you needed an infinity gauntlet to 'j3rk' it

      @MrBraffZachlin 3 года назад

      @@aroberts269 my intention was not to make him unable to sleep at night. one look at a guy like that and it's fairly obvious he doesn't care what ppl think. the question my little social experiment is trying to answer is is why do you, as not the person i'm talking about, care?
      is it that it makes you feel powerful to defend what you see as the weak in this guy being bullied in your eyes? or perhaps you likened my statements to insults you have heard directed at you so you projected the need for rescue onto glytch so you could stand up to your own bully? i wonder....?

      @@MrBraffZachlin You forgot to consider the possibility that some people just want to make the community more pleasant. This will lead them to calling someone out when they're being inappropriate without the need of a deep dark trauma driving their interactions.
      Mentioning that you didn't know the answer to this, and needed to make a "little social experiment" to understand it leads me to think you're either a child, or someone with severe socialization problems. Even more so after considering you have very distinct pseudo fancy mannerisms, that contrasts strongly with the informal use of punctuation and upper case letters.
      Whichever the case may be, you should be fine as soon as you realize that most social spaces have an implicit "don't be a jerk" rule.

      @@kalinunesferreira815 no, i totally did not forget to consider that allot of ppl prefer to live in a bubble, aka echo chamber, of their own design in a futile attempt to shield themselves from things that break the paradigm they prefer to live in and therefor flock together with as like minded minded sheep or perhaps even like cranes with their head in the sand. as a matter of fact sweat heart that was my entire point, but thanks for contributing, do you feel ill prepared intellectually yet? if not, you should
