    Loved these Gotchas and this is by far the best one ever. I saw this funny farce in Bournemouth Dorset . What a legend Lionel Blair . I bet it was difficult for the other members of the cast too keep quiet without bursting into hysterics ❤❤❤. RIP Lionel and thanks for all the entertainment you have given us over the years .

    I see Lionel Blair on the station where I work, I asked him about this and he assures me 100% that he had absolutely no idea. The audience were also in on it too because they purposely held Lionels cab up to brief them. Timeless hilarious comedy. 😆

    I love Lionel Blair, he was great on Give us a Clue, I remember him pulling off 3 men in a boat in under 60 seconds.

      Even when it was all Bruce Forsythe’s quiz shows, Cilla Black’s Blind Surprise and 321 on Itv in the eighties you quite often got a good film on BBC to compete.

    noels house party, the best thing on any given saturday. innit strange the flack noel gets, yet, he has made my weekends from when i was a kid with swap shop, to houseparty as an adult. a true entertainer.

    He helped me.pick my tap shoes in a shop in London when i was 13 he was amazing :) so nice. I stil have them for 54 yrs lol

    Back in the 70s I saw LB in the Strand. He was with a friend, and I was with my girlfriend. And although he was in a hurry he made time for us for a chat, and a couple of photos. He was such a gentleman and so friendly and, polite. I will never forget that encounter because I met a lot of stars over the years, as I worked in the west end. But never met anyone so nice and, friendly.

    Today's TV just can't compare to the 90s.
    Used to watch Noel's house party getting ready to go out in town for a good night with the boys.
    Cant believe how much noel has fallen. That Lloyds business has ruined him. Looked like a broken man in the jungle. Bloody shame.

      Brett McDonald it's low to medium fi, but when you bend down to check the machine it looks like hi.

      Hi-Fi basically means stereo (Nicam Stereo in the 1990s) and it is in stereo, but everytime you see "Hi-Fi" in the corner it means the tape isn't tracking properly and keeps dipping into mono. It was very annoying at the time. It was usually caused by a faulty or over-used cassette or if it was recorded in LP (Long Play).
