Hi. Thanks for this. So my question is separate from the two songs during which I am going to change the tempo, will the rest of the songs I have lined up and warped also remain on best as their tempo changes? Say I have 10 songs I am djing, change the tempo at song 3 from 120 to 125 and the rest I have warped before with the master tempo at 120. Or, should I warp each song according to the final tempo I want to play it at?
warp them at the exact tempo at which they were produced. that way the automation will always hit the sweet spot if you are not changing the tempo drastically.
I'm not so sure about the Complexe Pro mode since it has a notch and you loose certain frequency of the track... Unlike the Complexe mode which is much more natural... Good tutorial tho but I was wondering if it was possible to match the BPM of two tracks without using the warp mode which is downgrading the overall quality of the track...?
I tried your methode but created a trainwrack. Got a song that is 128bpm and the next song I want to initiate is 125bpm. I can't make a smooth transition.
Hello! So i'm having the problem where I have two different tracks at different bpms but I want both of them in the same song at their different tempos but the automatic tempo at the top sets both of them to the same tempo and it's messing up the sound. How do I keep them both at different tempos?
So the global tempo on the top is meant to set the BPM at the current time. However, you can enable an envelope at the bottom (where master volume is) to change the BPM from one song to the next. Let's say you are transitioning from 128 to 132. The global tempo on top should read 128. As you are transitioning to your next song, you should ramp up gradually by setting two keyframes at the beginning and at the end of the transition. As it plays, you will see the bpm automatically moving toward the target BPM.
Make sure WARP is enabled and then double click the number tape on top of the waveform. The yellow marker should show up, locking the wave at that point so you can warp it.
Hey Raphael, nice video! I am looking to do a Latin freestyle megamix the kind you would hear on WKTU with tape stop effects, stutter effects, repeat effects, etc. Can you do a video or videos on how to do that using ableton? I am brand new to ableton.
please can somebody help me ? the red line is volume, okey but how we can control bassline and treble line??I can't find this info on youtube. Thanks a lot.
I'm a total novice, so I am hopefully not leading you astray, but maybe try adding one of the EQ audio effects to add an EQ automation envelope, which you can then use to modify high, mids, low, etc.?
Great tutorial the pre-work on getting a warped and what not is the most painful staking
Thank you so much! I was so stuck without this! x

Watched this video to figure out the exact same thing lol. Was there an answer for this?
cool

you have to cut song if you jump from 128 to 125 if you jump to any lower songs

Chiina EZ did you ever figure this out?
I think the only option is to unwarp the track(s)

How do you set a marker for the tempo line?

GREAT FUCKING VIDEO why isn't anybody just like you omg
I am not seeing the mixer part on the master track. Can anyone tell me how to add it?
make sure you can see automation lanes, then click on the bpm.
please can somebody help me ?

@@alisonezard9328 Thanks for ur help Alison,it works well.
can we do this in sesion view as well?
You can create mixes in session view, but that mode is made more for a live set (MPC-style) than creating a mixshow or remix.
soo..just press play and thats it?
honestly the song tempo thing doesn't show up on the master track below ://
Click the show envelopes button. It's in the top right corner above your first track and next to the lock symbol.
