I have one. My safe range is 120 miles in winter, 140 in summer. I get over 160 in summer in mixed driving. In town I can get over 5 miles per kw/hr on epedal which would be 200 miles.
Sometimes a strong headwind has a much bigger impact on the range than the temperature or the speed. I remember a winter day driving from Netherlands to Belgium, I did 195 km easily. The next day I turned back the same way, I hardly hit 160 km range. It was exactly the same temp and the same avg. speed. The only difference was the strong headwind on the way back.
I have had a 2019 Nissan Leaf Tekna 40kwh for a year now. The range figures in the video is usually what I get. The car is great, let down by the inadequate charging network. As of February 2023 the price of public charging is expensive because of world circumstances but that should reduce over time. For normal day to day driving I am fortunate to have the ability to charge at home which gives me about two weeks of normal driving.
I think Nissan have done a great job with the Leaf. Every generation improves from the last and they are leading the way with more experience in the affordable EV than other manufacturers.
Gorgeous car! Out of all the cars I've tested, this one is the most comfortable to drive. For example, I don't like that the BMW i3 doesn't have a leg rest like this one and in long trips, you can feel like taking a rest for your leg and not having a support is a bummer.
@@DariuszTech not so many, just VW e-UP, VW ID4, Renault Zoe, BMW i3. If I had to choose, Nissan Leaf would be my pick, I am a sucker for comfort. As for the rapidgate, this accounts only for people that do more than 300 miles trips regularly and for them I can't recommend Nissan Leaf, but if you're a regular person who uses his car for daily rides, this one will suit perfectly.
Totally agree. However I decided to go for MG5 instead. As the range is better. It has better performance and it comes with 7 year warranty and it's even more practical. Sadly it's not as nice as Leaf 😂🍂
What's your speed on the motorway? 55% to do 90 is impossible in my 19plate 40kw leaf. I get between 3 and 3.3 at 70mph with no heating on and pro pilot cruise control. Tried it in econwith epadal on and off. I get 1% a mile.
@@janinebusbridge5050 it's miles in taking about, 90 miles you iditot. Don't presume and be an arse. People like you spoil the comments s ction. Guessing you don't have a leaf or you would have understood the context. Silly silly person Janine Busbridge.
I only had this car for 48 hours and was telling the miles per kw i was able to achieve. Everyone has different driving style but in summer 1 person driving eco it shouldn't be a problem of getting around 4.5-5 miles to kw. Winter will be completely different I drive MG4 at the moment. Summer times I'm getting around 4kw per mile but winter 2kw

Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion about the car 🙂

Of course the weather conditions would affect the range 😕

Like review, I sold my 24 and got a 40 Tekna. Good choice for me.
Enjoy. I think Nissan Leaf 40 is a decent electric car.
Great video!👍😉
Thanks a lot👍
Good test drive !
Thank you ☺️
A new test of car I like the car tests bro, what I prefer is the digital camera inside. Nice quality. We have a new video too bro lol
It's a decent car which I didn't buy 🤣😉
Where's the end of the video? Hahaha did you get to the place?

Totally agree. What other EV's have you already tested. As I had Corsa E, Honda E, Mazda MX-30, BMW i3 , Zoe

Nice video! I bet the car has a lot of space when it comes to equipment and stuff!😉
It actually does. I was very impressed with it 😂☺️
Klass.👍
Thanks for watching 😊
Digging this range test! What was your average speed to attain 5.1 mi/kWh? Looks like it says the speed limit was 60 in whatever area you were in?
I think it was around 45mph. Mixture of motorway, A and B roads
Easy to put mls/kwhr on inst. Panel.
Testers should read handbook before reviewing.
0:50 must be cold out....

When I go on motorway I always try to maintain the speed and don't use much regen. I try stick to 68mph
Maybe don’t do 90 then. The speed limit is 70.

Surely you dont mean 90 miles per hour ?
Hope you drove NISSAN TERRA. Very Dope SUV
It's only available in China and South East Asia. Never seen one here on Europe 🐱

I bought MG 5 and will be making video about it soon 😉
Watched 30 minutes!!!! Never told us any normal figures at the end. Time wasting!!!
