Capaldi is one of the GREATEST Doctor's that ever was or will be....and I grew up with Tom Baker as my doctor.
Peter Davidson was my first introduction to the Doctor. My favorite is the Matt Smith era, but I still think David and Christopher did a wonderful job at rebooting the series. Christopher to get it going, and David to show that it wasn't a one-man fluke.
The others have their own great iterations but Capaldi's was the Doctor in its essence
@@goolgepl2112 agreed. His first season I wasn't sold on him...but during the Doomsday Box sequence of "Zygon Inversion" he OWNED IT!! At that point, he was MY Doctor.
He brought the visceral emotion to the Doctor that had been sorely missing for a long time.
Matt smith forwver for me
Dude that said "Run" was acting his WAGE!
Family of the blood was amazing the end speech was amazing
I would have just said, "It hasn't stopped clicking yet."
"The sun will die - twice - before the ticking stops"
He was always direct, succinct and decisive.
Now it's all flash, histrionics and ego.
So sad.
Legends says the first thing you about the doctor is he is always unarmed and that's the last thing you'll ever see
"we wanted to live forever, so The Doctor made sure that we did"
"YOU ARE THE ONE THAT SHOULD BE AFRAID"
he says as hes ticking like a Geiger counter walking towards Chernobyl 💀
If I am going to be a victim, at least let me be among the first of victims.
That way I am at least identifiable as more than just a number
And now the doctor is scared. Hes always scared. 😔
Peter Capaldi was the last great doctor
Yeah that's my only issue with the new doctor he is doing great but every episode is like "ah im the doctor not afraid of anything" oh but that thing im scared of that thing
He was the last REAL doctor. I don't know which crappy fan-fiction they turned into terrible scripts afterwards, but it's almost like they went out of their way to intentionally ruin the franchise.
the henchmen: OH HELL NO, i ain't got paid enough for this.
List: *starts ticking faster*
The soldiers: "run"
Love honor and trusting respect in the Dr who whose been in the universe itself for every single day.
He was being kind
Thats what actually a God really be.
I'm just imagining like some guy arrives in the after life and meets someone and the exchange is just
"the doctor?"
"The doctor"
back when the doctor was still a must see
I won’t lie, Capaldi season 1 struggled, but once they kinda knew what they were doing with the character he was the coolest mf
As someone who never watched the show, does the Doctor actually have any combat feats? I know he accidentally genocides a planet or something and that’s why his kill count is so high but every clip of this guy I see is just him running away with a girl or using his little electric toothbrush to do something JJBA stand level obscure and complicated
Not that I can recall. Even another character calls him out for waving his Sonic Screwdriver around during a battle and to go "build a cabinet".
yes and a lot hinted at he did fight and end the the time war.
Basically he doesn't use weapons. He tends to use other means like screwing with an invasion fleets tech or decieving someone into killing themselves.
@@plaguesnstuff7657 does he not use weapons for moral reasons or what? Talking someone into killing themselves seems worse to me than doing it yourself for some reason 😭
@@ryzearcadian634 It's a moral one. It's more making their hubris get the better of them than making them kill themselves.
Capaldi is my all time favorite Doctor. Hands down. He was beyond great🎉🎉🔥🔥💥💥🔥🔥
Back when the doctor was seen as badass just for how smart he was
The one and only
The real reason the doctor doesn't like guns... becuase it it's not very imaginative
When the fatality counter sounds like a radiation profile of a near critical demon core... you need to Run...
Henchmen: Fuck this! 🏃🏽♂️
"when good men go to war"
Demons run when a good man goes to war
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war
Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall, and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war
Demons run, but count the cost
The battle's won, but the child is lost. Dr. Who
Yet good men never go to war.
@@abebuckingham8198Rory went to war, he was the good man
@@catsend No he wasn't. There are no good men who go war. They're just murderers.
Brilliant
Its crazy how hes never the one to be afraid
Always. Often. Never. The absolute coldest answers ever.
I mean, he literally destroyed a planet that with what was shown, seemed to be almost twice as large as earth, very likely with over 100 billion inhabitants, it makes sense his kill count is insane
And now its the fans that are running away and hiding. Lol. Seen the ratings??
It's because it used to be a fun sci-fi time travel show and became a historical fiction designed to present a specific political viewpoint without directly making false claims about history
They put a chick in it and then they made it gay.
He was being kind best way to describe a man who will do anything to stop the bad guys
I love it when the Doctor says stuff like that. Remember Silence in the Library? "Look me up." 😂
Today is not a day to find out why I have so many rules.
The last era of doctor who that wasn’t shite.
I remember that episode, it gave me goosebumps then, and it does now.
Dr who edits are one of the best things about youtube
The days when The Doctor was still The Doctor.
Yeah I stopped watching after him.
Jodie is cool and all but she was written wierd so I never made it past the first few episodes of her season.
did it get any better?
@@fireblow6842 No. They brough back a fan favourite after her... then the DEI division of disney castrated him every episode until they split him into the current african gay doctor who proceeded to attack the fans.
Leading to the lowest viewer rating the series has ever experienced.
@@ShalimarX32 thank you
@@fireblow6842 it ended with flux which was alright. Then they brought back tenant for a 3 episode special. It was alright worst part about it was the CGI. However they brought back the original writer from tennents era for the very newest doctor and it looks to be going pretty good.
I think Cpt Jacksparrow is a time lord😂. Imagine Johnny Depp as Dr Who😮
I want to start watching this show but I don’t know where to begin because it’s been on for so long.
Ahem, the DVD sets are at Barnes and Noble, I should know, I saw them there in the DVD section of the store
Best bet would be to start with the beginning of the revival so Series 1 E. 1: Rose. If you like it go back and watch classic who which the majority are single stories so you can pick and choose the serials and Doctors you want to see then.
“He never raised his voice” well, honest I can remember several instances especially with capaldi alone.
chills
No Army..No weapon...just anger and love...and words
The slow ramp up of the ticks counting is epic, no one know that out of the entirety of the time war The Doctor is the sole survivor/victor of said war.
Ahhh good ol times.. maybe i should start watching again
and now we have a Dr who, who runs around crying in every episode and saying he is scared of things.
You're confusing the Doctor with fake fans.
doesn't the new doctor twerk at a monster?
@@Daikon_Micucci I was never a true fan fan, but the fact that I enjoyed the previous seasons, and still do, but cannot find anything recent palatable is a sign of decay. They had the highest ratings they ever had and lost it in a few seasons
@@10thletter40 Six words. Six words is all it took to convince me that you're unfit for this conversation.
@@Daikon_Micucci Does that mean I'm wrong?
Too bad the show went off the air.
But it didn't...
Now it's a creepy skinsuit parading around
@@snakestealth24 Anti-woke people parade around in creepy skinsuits
This is a great montage - wonderfully done!
I had my issues with some of Capaldi’s run, but this was a great moment
RIP Doc, thank you for all those good years.
what is this song?
memory reboot
Why can’t I stop watching this!?!?
You aren't supposed to
It's a shame they stopped making Doctor Who after Peter Capaldi...
Well, I hope this coming Friday is decent. The last one... wasn't so great.
Actuallt they havent stopped they just took a little break had some bad writing and now its back better than ever
i love how he beat rick sanchez.
without landing a single hit.
To us we are like babies who are learning to crawl and walk while he’s a great great grandfather babysitting
The original rick samchez 😏
So sad how the show has fallen
Took years before i actually started to like this show. Ive watched em all. Now ot reminds me of better days
Whats the name of the show.
