    Love the truck, hate the fans. Looks like you bought a new Harley and strapped a milk crate on the back.

      Sometimes tou gotta do with what works purposeful since there is not actual mount for the size fan i have. Better than running and overheating the esc and motor.

    You can use the Traxxas pins in the rpm arms if you want. And they’re called e clips. 😊

    Is there an upgraded spur and pinion gearing available yet for the Hoss? I am trying to get it into the 60 mph mark it says you need 23/50 gearing ratio.

    You should have gotten the Traxxas heavy duty green a arms they don’t sag like the rpms after a while but will still look great and are strong as well I just think I prefer the Traxxas ones a bit more

    • @watsnu2day
      @watsnu2day  3 года назад

      I've had good reliability with rpm arms and it was available when i ordered them. I'll watch for any sagging of the.arms though. Thanks for the info!

      I've broken a lot of those traxxas hd arms they're not that great honestly

      I am wondering about the Traxxas Heavy duty arms, but on the website it says they are only compatible with the remaining components in the complete heavy duty kit. Do you know if this is true? We already have the steel spline driveshafts, traxxas metal caster blocks and steering blocks, GTR shocks , so we dont want to replace any of those items with the plastic ones in the HD KIT, we just want the suspension arms. Thoughts?

    Isn’t the trouble turning on pavement due to the servo saver and not the servo itself? These are known to have loose servo savers. Mine does the same thing when stopped on pavement it won’t turn all the way but as soon as you move the tires will turn full lock. I just have a cheap eco power servo. If the servo saver wasn’t so weak any servo over 300 oz would have no issue turning those tires.

      I took out the Hot Racing servo saver off and it was broken. It twisted side to side with some play. I put stock servo and servo saver back on but its really too slow. I took apart my jx eco servo and none of the gears were broken, so it going back on.

      @@watsnu2day yeah the stock servo is garbage. I bought the cheap eco power 110t when I bought the truck. It’s 3x the torque and a little faster than the stock servo but still not great.

    • @watsnu2day
      @watsnu2day  3 года назад

      I didn't want to add too much weight so I kept the stock shock towers.
