Thanks! Originally, I did some fluorescent orange spray paint with a high heat primer. It did last quite a while, just wanted to change the color again. Despite people saying no high heat spray paint is going to last. If you have the chance to powder coat, that is a very good, durable choice when you want to paint something
Backing plate is from the pull as well. You CAN use the one on the car right now but you wouldneed to dremel or cut the ebrake cable bracket more larger to fit the cable. This was the easier method but that's if you want the extra steps after the brake install. Goodluck
I have an e brake, I just grabbed the whole cable all the way to the handbrake area where it connects under the center console You don’t HAVE to use this method, but some people have encountered that the e brake cable is too long/short or big/small for the brake drums in the back

You can use the original one that you have, it was easier install with the e brake included
