So true. I try to remember not to think "oh, this is their life, I'm so jealous" but "this is the life they want others to think that they have". :D
Lol I spend at least 20 minutes (Usually about 30-45) on pictures and about 3 ish hours on the comment//desc
I spend about 20 minutes on the picture too, half an hour editing, and then 30 minutes thinking about the description. Then I wait for the likes and comments for an hour or two while passively surfing the internet. But I don't reply to them immediately because I gotta make sure people think I have a life.

I had 85k followers on my insta . I closed my insta and started enjoying my life instead of looking perfect and constantly being worried about how many likes and followers I would gain. I haven't felt happier in a long time !
This perfectly captures how most Instagram users and influencers are:
Taking pics and videos to make people think they are perfect models or have perfect lives when they themselves are the root of all the problems on Instagram and the bad influences it has on people. This is why i don't use Instagram anymore, thankfully I've never been addicted to the platform or compare myself to fake people living fake lives.
