I know right! At least "cheap" moms save money instead of spending it all.. My mom is a bit "cheap" but that's good since we don't have a lot of money. She already does everything for me so what does it matter that she does some of these things? You still get the same things as other people but then cheaper or for free. Also, I don't get why Buzzfeed made this video, and also called people "cheap" that do this. They're all "against racism (while they're actually racist themselves but okay) and against discrimination" and then they make this video which is discrimination against people that don't have a lot of money or are literally broke. You can call me what you want but the title kinda offends me. It's not fun that my family and me are pretty much broke, just like a lot of families. We are ashamed that we have to do this sorta stuff to get around, especially cause of this video and the comments..

My mum raised me, we never had much money. If I asked for something and she said we couldn't afford it (which was basically every time), I understood. We wash Ziplocs, and save disposables, and all that poor people stuff. My dad left us when I was little and bought me those toys and things I couldn't have every holiday and birthday. I love my mum so much, but I don't give an applejack about my dad. The money isn't important, kids don't care about that at all, it's the time you put in. Sorry that this lifestyle is "sad" to you.

My mother saved money by buying almost daily potatoes or any other cheepest vegetables in market and cheepest clothings, and no fancy foods for a few years, which helped us save money. Moreover, I also at the time being thought that a little extra money perhaps could help perhaps at home so I discussed it with my principle and she told me to write an application, which instantly got approved due to good grades and I got full fee concession other than basic tuition fee. But she never ever she compromised on our health, studies or meals, uniforms, stationary or sports coaching, as I used to be in sports too.
This taught us that a little financial crisis can be dealt with a little bit cutting on expenses and saving a little bit of money.
I have more respect for those moms who instead of taking loans or spreading their hands in front of people for help, work hard and manage anyhow with financial crisis, by using their brains and still maintain their dignity.
