Hey Jayy!!!! Careful of Frank.... he'll have you swooning before you know it. lol Enjoyed watching you smile as you listened to his voice and looked at his picture. Take care... Be well. Peace.
Okay, your reaction to the big band interlude was priceless. From when music was MUSIC. For more of that kind of quality you should check out the music of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and definitely 'Sway' performed by Julie London.
Nice reaction. Sinatra has a great selection of songs a mile long. Some of his best include, "Strangers in the Night", "Summer Wind", "Come Fly With Me", "It Was a Very Good Year", and a cute duet he sang with his daughter Nancy "Something Stupid".
Hope you're not falling for old blue eyes Elvis will get jealous 😂 not a request I highly recommend you check out Dean Martin when you do have time and got through your backlog he was a member of the Rat Pack along with Frank Sinatra & Sammy Davis Jr. Trust me you will NOT be disappointed x
That's Count Basie's Orchestra backing him up. This arrangement was done by none other than Quincy Jones. It was played for the Apollo 10 crew while they were in orbit in 1969. As for "My Way", Sinatra later disliked that song. Refusing to sing it in his later shows.
I grew up on Sinatra, and I saw him live in Madison Square Garden on his 75th Birthday Tour 30 years ago. My friend's dad had company seats, and we were 3rd row. The stage was in the round like a boxing ring. What a thrill! Living in NJ, if you went to any kind of holiday or celebration at the house of an Italian friend, Frank dominated the playlist.
You wouldn't be the first woman knocked flat by the Chairman's voice and you won't be the last. People will be enjoying Sinatra's recordings 100 years from now. There's no hiding generational talent.
Frank sinatra said that Tony Bennett was the best singer around. Try Bennet singing " Who can I turn to" or "I left my heart in San Fransisco" or " I want to be around"
No one can actually say they don't like Sinatra . His voice was so smooth and cool . I've never been a Sinatra fan but even I'll admit I really like at least a half dozen of his hits
I don’t know if you’ve ever watched any old movies, but listen to this and picture a couple or a bunch of couples on the dance floor it starts out slow and easy and then the band comes in and it goes back to slow and easy 💘
Beautiful reaction! Thank you! I really love your reactions. One feels like they’re right there with you. You have quite unique and authentic facial expressions and a lovely character! I’m pretty sure other fans get this impression too. Great stuff, God bless!
My friends call me a fucking encyclopedia of any kind of popular culture from 1930's on. There's some truth to it because it's hard for me to get impressed. But I LOVE your reactions.
Hey Jayy , old blue eyes passed away in 1998, He was voted intertainer of the century, My mom a dad had all of his albums, so i grew up with him , King of Vegas 😎✌
Check out the Great Nat King Cole "Unforgettable" Live ruclips.net/video/JFyuOEovTOE/видео.html Also, for the young folks in the 50s, here is one of the biggest singers ever, Johnny Mathis, "Chances Are" ruclips.net/video/NEH3uqbpsm8/видео.html "Misty" ruclips.net/video/SURLgCHlRds/видео.html "It's Not For Me To Say" live when he was very young. ruclips.net/video/igsVYj29o9Y/видео.html
This is one singer my uncle thought wasnt that great of a singer. I thought he was a pretty good singer . Of course they had great singers at that time : Mario Lanza, Dean Martin, Robert Goulet, Perry Como , and one of my favorites Andy Williams . I like some of Frank's song but there were some I didn't care for.
The Count Basie orchestra kickin butt behind Frank.....fantastic.
This was the 1950s/1960s Basie Orchestra, sometimes called the "Atomic Band," the tightest, hardest swinging big band of them all.
And Quincy Jones was the arranger on this as well. Kick butt they did!
seeing someone explore old classics like you do is so satisfying to watch
Music, instruments, voices, singing, romance...bring it back please!
To us Sicilians/Italians hes our Godfather!!
What about Bruno Samartino?
@@mitchd4929 what about Bruno? Lol he was a wrestler not a singer
My nonna was more of a deano head rather than old blue eyes haha but my heart was taken by Frank! Them blue eyes had me!
What about Dean Martin 😉🤌
@@janprah5655 we love him too lol
Frank was just about the coolest cat that ever lived. Pair him up with Count Basie and his Orchestra, and you can't help but have pure magic.
What mastery! Sheer class & elegance!😍
"My whole body just got chills".
Sums it up perfectly.
First song my wife and I danced to on our wedding night. 38 years later, she still sends me!!
You're hearing a top jazz band..yes, chills.
Frank was the GOAT. He truly believed and fought for equal rights.
Old blue eyes, will never be surpassed king of cool🎙️🎺👌👍

Another key song for him is "New York, New York"
The virus makes me wonder what happened to The World We Knew.
Crazy life this dude had
That's what real music sounds like.
Another wonderful reaction and beautiful smile! You were relaxed and enjoying this classic! You knocked it out of the park again girl!
I’m not a huge Sinatra fan, but this particular song I’ve always liked. Thanks for sharing it with us old timers Jayy.
Ohhhh yea???? Count Basie and Frank!!! Glad I got to grow up still hearing these musicians even though I'm a product of the 60's!!!
How can you not smile to that song
Hope you're not falling for old blue eyes Elvis will get jealous 😂 not a request I highly recommend you check out Dean Martin when you do have time and got through your backlog he was a member of the Rat Pack along with Frank Sinatra & Sammy Davis Jr. Trust me you will NOT be disappointed x
@kevin Armstrong,....I agree. Very good suggestions.

Hard to beat those Big Band intruments!
Well you can say one thing about Frank. He wasn't shy.
Not a big Frank fan BUT I Do like Fly Me To the Moon; Frank's daughter Nancy co starred with Elvis in his movie Speedway.
Fun fact, In the early 1900s well over half the US population had blue eyes. That's why they were mentioned in so many songs
Love and Marriage...Sinatra and Elvis

Geez....I wish him back. Awesome.
Count Basie behind him is what makes it
My friends call me a fucking encyclopedia of any kind of popular culture from 1930's on. There's some truth to it because it's hard for me to get impressed. But I LOVE your reactions.
Can hear each word
With the Chairman of the Board, it's all about phrasing. No one before or since has bested him.
Crooners are no longer a thing but if you are interested in them there's tons out there like Mel Torme and Frankie Laine
I remember when Mel Torme would guest star on Night Court
Mel Time was a good song writer but a so so singer. Frankie lane was a great singer.
Count Basie Frank Sinatra perfection
Chairman of the Board, as he was called.
I just want to slow dance under city lights with someone I love to Frank Sinatra. The energy he gives
The smile when his voice hits says everything.lol
Thank you
I love "All or Nothing At All."
Johnny Fontane can sure sing.😂😁
Great reaction Jayy! Check out “Dindi”; sounds like he’s almost whispering. An absolutely beautiful version of this song.

A true icon for any generation.
The guitar player - Freddie Green - was really chunking away on that thing on this tune.
You gotta do, the way you look tonight. Great love song
Best version of this song!!!
👍💯
Not sure if the Nelson Riddle or Count Basie orchestra backing him! Great version!
Watch him sing with Elvis,excellent
He was a triple threart...singer, actor, and dancer.
Franks Sinatra O Clássico A Voz !
