100% agree on the treble...there's just something missing. Like it's masking some of the hi-end by dampening it. I like to hear that harshness. It helps me to know if my mix is too bright and/or harsh.
They probably mastered that album on few pairs of studio monitors that they like: hey, let's put those headphones on for few minutes just to say we used them in the session. 😁 Wow! What a dip in the treble and deficiency in the bass. Might be EQable...
Most important for average listener with the MM-100 and the Maxwell: bass is sloppy and you're not going to EQ the problem outta there. Try something else in the price range or just go full budget --or, bump your budget up dramatically if headphones matter so much to you. There are probably $2000 headphones out there that are amazing, but I personally just don't care enough with this type of product. RUclipsrs are spending way too much wind talking about headphones, overhyping. >>>Best advice is to get reasonably-priced headphones w/ low distortion and some means to EQ your music sound.
Hello, I just want to use one earphone and don't want to be tired of switching devices all the time depending on the type of music. I listen to 80% classical and 20% jazz and pop. I I think I like mm500 very much, and I think the instrument part is quite good, and the vocals are in the front, so the female voice sounds good. Do you recommend other headphones at this level? I think the Sound Stage of the mm500 is ok. For classical music, the instrument is not too modified and artificial, the low-frequency dive is enough for jazz. I'm still looking for a sound I like, maybe you can give me some advice or other information.
I love the rtngs website headphone reviews. Could you please add reviews for Devine pro 4000 and Takstar Pro 82? They might be excellent budget mixing 'phones, but hard to know, because reviews seem scarce.

You're absolutely right! Another "audiophile" channel posting a review of headphones for mixing and mastering. Made in collaboration with MM (13 Grammys) lol.
Vanessa, since I made this comment and you asked.. First I thought the presentation of the review was excellent. I have the MM-100's on my desk now and perhaps what I was looking for is a direct comparison between say the MM-100s and the Senheiser 560s which I also have. I checked your ratings of the 560s and compared them directly with the MM-100. To my ears the 560s has the MM-100s beat at less than 1/2 the price. The MM-100s weigh 1.04 lbs and the 560s weigh .61 lbs. So I find the Seinheisers superior in comfort and sound. That being said what I was looking for in the review is why someone should choose the MM-100s with the 3K peak and the gouge out of the treble at 5K.. I do agree the build quality of the MM-100s in most respect is better.
@@RichardMcMahon-hu8ry hey Richard! I'm literally stuck between choosing both the 560s and MM-100 for mixing and mastering. Which would you recommend for both? also, how's the low end in your opinion on both? I mix a low of low-end heavy music
damn this whole time I thought Audeze was "aw deez", i've been deez nutsing myself for years
Not like this 😂

The verdict comparison slide shows nothing about the differences in sound and freq response you're actually talking about, it feels disconnected

Haha most likely went through a couple of studio monitors, but we can see them being used for plenty of bedroom producers!

Great review so excited to see this audio channel grow! Do yall plan on doing any 2 channel HiFi or home theater products?
It isn’t something that’s in our immediate plans, but it’s absolutely something we’d like to do as we continue to grow! Thanks for the great question!
Thanks for the review and hosting Vanessa
Your mannequin is rocking this style .

Great talk, would like to work with you on our product M51 Headset!

Recommending Sundaras and Bayers and not talking about their DISTORTION means this channel is made by noobs for noobs.

Rtings is not qualified to discuss audio.
I feel betrayed, where is Abbey?
She's still around and will be in lots of videos! We just like to give other members of our team the opportunity to be in videos!
They look heavy
Not a technical review and not really helpful to me.
Could you let us know why you didn't think this was helpful for you? We're always looking to improve!
