Very in-depth video👍 I had these on pre-order (first-run) but then came all the delays. I ended up canceling. I'm glad I did, because the initial shipments had some QC issues. I continued to follow user reviews and as always Audeze handled the issues with the headphones very professionally. The MM-100 are very difficult to purchase unless you join some kind of wait list. I'm still interested in the MM-100, they seem like the perfect compliment to the Maxwell. I really like what the MM-100 offers for the price range. The only other cans that I would consider in this price range is the Sundara (already own). I like the Edition XS, but would consider the Ananda Nano (a bit more expensive) if you care about gaming as well.

Hey guys right now im super confused to get between Audeze MM100 and Hifiman Ananda Nano or the audeze maxwell ? Mainly for music/songs and for immersive single player games. Which one you guys recommend ?
How do you compare this with Neumann NDH30? I know this one is a planar and the NDH is a moving coil, however the reviews of NDH are very compelling for a headphone that is somewhat similarly priced, and equally impressive across the frequency spectrum. Would love to know your thoughts. Thanks
Hi. Would you have a try on the Harmonicdyne Zeus Elite. I just heard two different guys comment it has the best fps performance they’ve ever heard (beat hd560s & dt990pro & maxwell). I’m very curious about it and considering between it and mm100.
The first time i tried these i was thinking, damn where is the bass, but after some time listening to a few of my favorite tracks i realized that the sound of these is quite balanced and clear, the mids are great! Stero imaging/width is great! The missing high frequencies that most people talk about, i guess they probably are simply looking at the frequency graph, without even listenig to them phones. However, i find it fascinating how apparently nobody is noticing/mentioning the insanely pronounced "seashell resonance" on these. The effect is so strong that it's a deal breaker for me. What a pity!
@GadgetryTech might of missed it during the video? Heard you mention Imaging but don't recall you say anything on sound stage and separation? Is this just like an open back Maxwell? Would you prefer gaming on this more than the Maxwell?
Great review! Now i'm confused... I was almost set with the Hifiman Ananda Nano's for my next headphones ... and enter the MM-100s. Since gaming is a big criteria for me ... Any idea between the two which one wins, even Nano's being more expensive? (imagining and soundstage are a big priority for that directionality in fps games).
Good video, thank you. I just got the MM-100 and for portable use, I was thinking that a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable would be nice (because I am using a Dragonfly USB amp). 1) what cable do you recommend for a tight budget and 2) is there a benefit in having both cups connected with cable instead of one side?
I was waiting for you to review the Planar PlayStation headphones soley for the ability to listen via RF and Bluetooth/wired, and decide between that or the Corsair Virtuoso Pro, but you're really selling this one well.
