In aviation we call it “get-there-itis” and it has literally been the cause of death for many a pilot.

Holy shit what an adventure and what a story!! And unbelievable job Henry!!!! First time up as a solo host with no previous appearances, guest spots, introductions, or any of the core donut boys to co host to tow you in. The dude absolutely CRUSHED it, such a natural and hope to see more of him!

Being a Suzuki guy, I've always loved the underdog X-90. Gave me some great ideas for my '03 Vitara cabriolet. Thanks for giving the underdog some trail cred, Henry, and it's great to see you in front of the camera!

As someone who owns a 2002 Grand Vitara 4x4 V6 for fun, it was nice seeing Suzuki's lesser known vehicles get some love. Suzuki doesn't have a BAD car under their belt, they just had a bad rep because they got chased out of the US by lying journalists and thus, it's REALLY hard to find parts for these things now. The fact you found another one in a junkyard is completely insane. The small foot print and decent power and GREAT transmissions these things have mean they can go pretty much ANYWHERE, I take mine on trails not even a Tacoma or 2 seater Jeep can go.

"Upgrade Road Trip" could be a cool new series. Each ends with a challenge like an autocross, rallycross, hill climb, drag race, etc.
Something I love about Donut is the fans. The comment section is always super nice, complimenting and acknowledging the Donut people, and just a nice place to be. I dont read comments often, but I have seen a welcoming community with lots of positivity.

That was a truly ludicrous purchase, a clearly over-ambitious trip and upgrade plan... PERFECT for filming and sharing! Shoot, you probably could have turned this into 3 videos or even more. GREAT video, couldn't believe you fit in so much in 17 minutes!

Great video guys! Henry did an awesome job, love seeing new faces in the videos. I love seeing you guys take on challenges that might not be the best approach, but I think they represent the dumb crap real people that want to dink with there cars might try, and you get to see what to do when things don't go to plan. I feel like this is how many of my own car project seem to go LOL!

I have no idea if Henry is kidding when he says he stayed at a nudist colony or met a girl in Arizona and they fell in love on the way to California but this is some of the best content from Donut I've seen. This could have been an hour longer

This is by far one of the coolest Donut videos I’ve seen in recent years. Turning a rusted kei car into an offroader by driving through different states for upgrade kits is so ridiculous I can’t help smiling each point. You even got a new babe, which makes this the most video game journey out there!

Honestly when I first saw this series posted I brushed it off but, seeing this condensed breakdown I might have to go back and watch the rest of it. Henry seemed super cool and passionate about his little Suzuki and I’m happy to see donut continue to explor the off-road side of car culture more!
Hands down favorite type video! Do it again! Do the same thing next time buy a car hit your destination and get a upgrade pit a price limit and then challenge hi/low vehicle and see how it does in a challenge
