  • The trigger cone & mesh head is worn and the trigger performance is not as good anymore. It leads to less sensitive and inconsistent triggering.

    Hey thanks for the great video! I replaced both the large foam and the small cone, and I'm still having triggering issues. The right side of my KD-140 is dropping hits and only plays consistently when hit hard. The left side has no issues. I am worried that the internal trigger is damaged. What can I do to fix this?
    Thanks!

    Hi V-Drums whats your opinion on Axis Ddt e-acoustic kits? They're assembled and designed in Germany and are relatively inexpensive compared to Drum-tec, and they use pretty similar trigger design!

    Can you show how to replace the cushion l need to replace mine but not sure if it's like replacing the cone, does it have a sticky tape?

    • @Vdrumtips1
      @Vdrumtips1  5 лет назад +3

      The fusion is applied with sticky tape. Just pull and clean the surface with acetone. It takes a while but it is worth it. I did it with a KD-120.

    Hey,
    so I need to ask you what do you think about Millenium MPS-850 vs Fame dd-one professional e-drum set vs Fame DD-ONE Simon Phillips Edition, or you have any other idea for drum kit with mesh pads, real hi-hat stand and under 1000$.
    I am hoping for your answer and thank You

    • @Vdrumtips1
      @Vdrumtips1  5 лет назад

      Miha Golob I think it is low quality stuff and I would not even take it if it was free. These kind of sets are only there to have them in the product range, but there is no know how or experience behind it. No resell value, they do not work well, AVOID. Get a used Roland set for >1000$. You can find awesome quality sets in that price range.
