I had the same problem and removed all the first layer of foam with a very sharp knife, replacing it with a new one, I did not even have to glue the new one, it was perfect and seems to me better solution, it is not necessary to trim the top rubber. Thank you for the solution!

Спасибо за идею! У меня похоже проблема. При игре не дает басов, только высокий слабый отзвук. С виду такая же просевшая. Как после ремонта звучит?
