Quality workmanship even aesthetically pleasing, not just a chunk of grey steel. I also like the minuscule door tolerances only few safe manufacturers can reproduce.
Wow.. incredible tolerances on the door to the body. Don’t need a bunch of bolts with a set up like that. Beautiful.
The angle on the door probably has something to do with fitting the door so tight after its on the hinge and maintaining an even gap that tight.
Beautiful period
precision
Great informative video, thanks! Is there any of that fire protection material in the door? Also, I know some manufacturers offer a digital keypad with a manual backup. Is that available on the Graffunder?
In the door, they use a ceramic fire lining.
Thanks, I appreciate the info. Do they have any documentation on what sorts of materials the safe will adequately protect? I guess I’m wondering how hot it would get inside in the event of a fire. I’ve seen their “after the fire” photos on their web site, and that seemed to show that papers would do okay, but they mentioned some melting of plastics like the photo frame. So it seems like maybe digital media would need to be protected elsewhere.
@@MikeKobb I would agree to that. Most media safes keep the inside temperature around 150 degrees. I believe their rating is at 350. For reference, paper gets crispy at about 405 degrees
Aaron Parker Thanks again.
What’s the cost on that exact model, just for a general idea. Thanks in advance’
So damm nice
Nice safe why no top or bottom locking pins
Well, unlike the bodies and doors on the big box store safes, the bodies and doors on these safes don't flex or bend at all. All the locking bolts do is keep the door shut. I'd say they could actually get by with less bolts. At any rate, as long as the body and doors don't flex on a safe, the locking bolts don't need to be big, fancy, or plentiful.
Nice safe. What’s the cost
HI Donald,
They're around $8000.
@@parkerssafes thats a nice deal . quality for sure
