I will now buy a safe from you. Thanks for being honest. Honesty is very rare these days.
I'm thinking that most people are not understanding that it took 6 hours to open the safe so as to not damage it beyond using it again. I'm guessing that it wouldn't take 6 hours to get into it.
I have to wonder how many bad reviews they have??? My bad review was never posted.
I'm curious how these safes react to certain fires with the door being so tight with expansion, something would have to give you would think. I would rather have AR type steel or SR type steel in the body especially. After watching what a circular saw with a Diablo type blade can do to carbon steel is amazing.
Thats the exact same technique we used, and the same exact narrow pellet jack. We had 4×6 block instead if the threshold was a taller one we could use the 4 or 6 sides
Having a back door wasn't the problem with Liberty; the problem was giving the code to the FBI.
i agree.
On the first AmSec safe you showed, what do you do if the unlock handle just spins around freely? It looks like the handle has a good snug fit on the center spindle, but it just rotates 360 degree in both directions.
The angle on the door probably has something to do with fitting the door so tight after its on the hinge and maintaining an even gap that tight.
that turn back, after the last #, may need to go further, until a click, always move the handle and wait for the big click. then its open.
It's usually a dead stop where it won't turn anymore.
If the warranty is important to you then people need to evaluate the long term existence of the safe company the best they can. A lifetime warranty might mean the company not the safe.
Nice I like it, giving me some ideas for the future
Very nice work! Thanks for the vid. Stay safe! ( no pun intended)
Awesome video thank you for sharing!
Thank you!
All the experience pays off, you make it look easy.
Thanks!
Woooooo
I’m really glad your boys didn’t get the vaccine. This makes me want to buy another safe from you . Still love my UT55 I got from you seven years ago . Maskholes suck by the way . 😎
Help I have trouble opening mines!!!!! Did the rocking trick and still won’t open.
They want all your guns, ex wife’s wedding ring, your gold and silver and house title all together to pick up . Wafe up!
I'm wide awafe sir.
I have been looking at a American Security 3018. Can you give me some input of this safe? Is it American made or from Korea?
The NF SF and TF are all made in China now
I had been planning JB weld one of these (SFW123DTB) to a steel plate and then secure that plate to the floor (jb weld the bolts too as they would be exposed) so i could retain the fire/water resistance and have it secure. After seeing this those are these just totally just for actually securing valuables? I'm having a hard time finding a good safe that isnt going to cost thousands of dollars.
in USA easier go directly through the wall... ^^
Great work.
THE PLAIN AND SIMPLE TRUTH 🇺🇲 🕛
Noice.
Thank you got into my 30 year old cannon dial safe I want to replace the dial can you help in what I need
The door looks tough as nails but that vault is built like a European parking lot
Heck! That’s a huge vault room compared with most.
What is the key hole on the front for?
It’s for a day use key. It’s not an override on that lock.
I really like both models. Excellent I don't like it when people compare materials to other safes/vaults and don't thoroughly explain what the competitors materials exactly are. It's slightly misleading.
Sorry but guarantee I can get into any gun safe in 15 mins. Built my own safe and no one is getting into it for hours myself included
I didn't see a UL safe rating sticker on the door. I'd assume with that 1.5 steel door, it would qualify for a TL-30 rating?
Probably. Graffunder doesn’t carry any ratings that I know of.
Due to the weight can they be brought down to the basement? I wonder if wood stairs will support weight.
it would all depend.
Can't you change it to your own code? Get rid of factory code.
You can get rid of the factory user code, which is generally 123456 and put in your own but most locks feature a code that’s called a manager reset code and is extremely helpful when there’s a death in the family or something like that. Generally, there’s a serial number on the lock itself and with the proper paperwork and proof of ownership, the company will release that manager reset code. There’s a lot of controversy out there right now around that because Liberty safe voluntarily gave that manager reset code to the FBI during a raid. That was a huge mistake for them which most manufactures would not have made and certainly wouldn’t now!
Agreed
That is a beatuful looking door, great job installing it. I also think its great that you got your Sons working with you. Your Sons really should be wearing safety shoes with a steel cap though. They handled that heavy door like experts but its better to be safe than sorry :)
The BF II tolerance looks much tighter.
Liberty Safes! If we forget the code, just call the FBI!
What do I do with an inherited fridge size safe from 1920 or earlier? We have the combination. If we sell it, how does it get moved?
Oh please… Unlike Liberty Safe sir, we abide by and understand our 4th Amendment. Without a warrant that particularly describes the person or place to be searched or item to be seized, they’re not getting anything from us. Are you trying to rile me?
Should have poured it in place
Please welcome Anthony, our new expert.
@@parkerssafes thank you, AMA
Which one is better ?
7000lb ?or $7000 dollars !
What if CIA,FBI or DEA asked for the Codes and Access? How loyal are you to the People 🎉
Heavy job
How about old Glory safes, any good?
Not a bad safe just a bummer they’re made in China.
Why do so many of the vaults and safes I have been researching having their hinges on the outside? I would think you want them on the inside to decrease the attack points, but I just started learning, thanks.
It’s usually not a vulnerable point at all. If you picture the inside of the door, you have the bolts extending behind the frame or into sockets, and so even if you were to cut the hinges off completely, the door still will not come out of the door frame.
@@parkerssafes Thank you for the fast response! Have a good day :)

HI Aaron, to my surprise there are videos of people using hardiebacker cement board & even just sheet rock building their vault door room . What tends to be the most common construction you see on insulation's for vault doors( poured concrete / block wall filled. ) ? If you ever do a Q & A video Whats the back story to Parker Safes, How/Why did you decide to start safe/vault business? " Thank you
Yes, I have seen a number of different materials used for vault rooms, but the best is usually poured concrete with rebar where the walls are tied to the floor and ceiling. I would say a minimum of 4 inches would be adequate, but I’ve seen vault rooms as thick as 20 inches. As far as our backstory, I have an uncle who is a master firearms engraver and started selling safes back in the late 80s. I was in law-enforcement for a while and worked as a park ranger at grand Teton nation Park and then a trim carpenter in Arizona and I just sort of fell into it. my younger brother asked me what I was going into when the construction job ended and mentioned calling our uncle to see what’s involved in getting into the Safe business. I made that call about a year later. I was on the Safe business. Coincidentally I hope that same brother get into the business as well and he’s now, Parker Safes and security in Ohio.
Now that is a door, please thank your boys for their service and I agree the military should be forcing vaccines on anyone, especially when it proved to be a failure!!!
Our government is ridiculous. Thanks. I'll pass that on to them.
Does anyone make a vault door rated for TL-30?
I believe Brown Safe and Wilson Safe do.
Depending on the wall construction, that gap is the perfect size to use a scicer
They’re always inventing cool, new stuff. I can’t wait until scicer becomes a household name.
