Honestly, GI Joe and transformers in the same universe makes a lot of sense. It could explain a lot of the Joe's advanced tech. Same with Cobra. All their advanced tech could be all of that could be derived from transformers tech just re-engineered + plus Noah 's suit at the end of the movie when him and his transformer form that suit for him. That looked a lot like the GI Joe suit in the first movie with Channing Tatum and one of the Wayans brothers
Now we need like Jazz,Ironhide,and Ratchet to make a return in the crossover movie since we haven’t seen them in action since the 2010s (also hopefully Hemsworth play duke like you say)

If there is a character I would cast Chris Hemsworth as, it would be Rock N Roll (aka) Craig S. McConnel and the reason because he gives me more Rock N Roll vibes and I don't see Hemsworth as Duke as Alan Ritchson is my choice of actor for Duke and Alan Ritchson has more Duke vibes.
I don't really get where some people are hesitant for the crossover. The Military's been a part of every live action Transformers movie. There was Sector 7 and Lenox's men in TF1, Lenox's strike force in TF2-3, Cemetery Wind in Age of Extinction, Lenox's men again in the Last Knight, and Sector 7 again in Bumblebee. Rise of the Beasts had the least military presence, and even then, Noah has a military background and you have the GI Joe set up at the end. The biggest difference is that the soldiers are gonna have more personality and more colorful uniforms. The biggest change will Moreno be on the villain side, and that's assuming they use the Gai Joe villains right away, too. The next movie might just be the Autobots and GI Joe fighting Decepticons
The 2009 GI Joe movie gets a lot of hate and some of that is justifiable but with the power of hindsight and having seen it in the theatre, it was actually pretty good all things considered. It’s the best GI Joe movie so far so take that for what it’s worth.
I love the idea of GI joe crossing over with transformers cause most people only want to see the robots destroying eqch other not the human stories so having those characters makes the human storylines actually so much more interesting. Cant wait to see the film
Even though I’m not a big fan of having the two crossover but it probably is the best way to go at this point for the two franchises, GI Joe after 3 movies has not been able to get off the ground at all (even though I liked the Dwayne Johnson one) and the Transformers movies have become stale after Rise of the Beasts. Maybe this will be a jolt of energy for both and hopefully jump start both franchises again.

Thank God. A Real Actor back in the Transformers movies. Good step forward I really Didn't like Rise Of The Beast. CGI was Really Bad the weakest in the Franchise. And boring Action and Bland and boring Final battle. And Transformers One looks Stupid. Really want Michael Bay to come back and save Transformers because these few latest projects have been misses and looks like another one finna miss
