This presents a problem for old semi retired Techs like myself. I graduated in 77 from a Vocational HS. For my junior and senior year i had auto mechanics for 3 hours, that included a "0" hour. We started a hour before the rest of the school. From there i went to MCI for automotive technician and got ASE certified in 85. I said all of that to say i have been buying tools, mostly truck brand tools, since 1976. I now have more tools than i will ever need again but when companies like Snap On, Ko-Ken, VIM, etc... continue to offer tools that is just absolutely cool as can be whats a semi retired man to do. I honestly have no need for a single one of the tools you just shown. But the odds are pretty dang good that most of those will find a home in my box(s)
I absolutely love tools and get excited to buy a new tool.
Thanks for the video and review brother.

I’m a new tech still in school and I can’t tell you how many times I have put electrical tape in a socket to keep the bolt/nut in place. Can’t wait to order some Koken nut grip sockets.

100% worth it. The 8mm is great for Mercury Outboards since the bolts that hold together the side cowlings are in the worst possible places.

Congratulations on a great career choice. As I posted above I have been turning a wrench since 1976 in HS. Actually from the age of 10 helping Dad so 54 years or there around. You are in a excellent time for tool development. The tool offerings, quality tool offerings has never been better.
If I may, a couple of rules I lived by.
If you need to borrow a tool more than twice then you need to own that tool.
Do your absolute best to buy quality tools the first time. It is money saved in the long run. Be careful of "just as good as..." tools. For many it is just a claim to sell you something. Quality tools that are designed to last a career of every day use cost money. It's like the old saying goes, Buy once, cry once. Lifetime warranty doesn't mean much if you are constantly breaking them when you need them the most to make a living.
Again, Congratulations on making a good career choice. Never stop learning and always strive to be the absolute best you can be. A honest good technician will always be in demand.
Good luck in all your future endeavors.

@@randysmith9636totally agree. I do wanna add that I recommend new techs buy as much as they can from harbor freight. Once you break it, buy the tool truck version. Stuff like picks or those lug nut sockets with the nylon sleeve would just go for the tool truck. You’ll be using the warranty enough that it’s worth it. My snap on guy comes every Tuesday and just asks if I need a 90 degree pick. I usually do lol.

Koken did come out with the truth on the wobble plus extensions. Some Snap On fanatics say Koken copied it from Snap On,this is not true. That Koken rep said it in another video on another channel that Koken was first for it and Snap On copied it once the patent Koken had on it ran out

just bought a 2013 subaru 2.5i 145k on it and its very very clean however didnt take very long i noticed it burns about a quart of oil every 1k miles.
is there anything i can do about it other then check pvc valve ? should i increase oil weight ? will increasing oil weight create a bigger problem then just adding oil every 500miles ? or just go trade it in take a loss and just know i may have dodge very expensive future repairs ?
