On the heated wipers... you said De-Thaw LOL- which is re-freezing - no worries, I grew up in a house that said the same thing- keep up the good work, enjoying all your tool videos.
I have Everblade Heated Wipers installed on my Jeep Gladiator via the aux switch bank and they work great. Highly recommend getting heated wipers in bad winter areas.
brake lines, refrigeration lines, etc, use a double flare on the copper tubing- so you have to flare the one way-out- then fold it over on second flare so it fits the nuts and tightens for the pressure- she was saying they made the unit magnetic so the dies do not hit you when you are under the car flaring the lines in place, after running the lines through the chassis or whatever..lol..
Hey Stan, so the lady in the green shirt was showing you a brake line flaring tool. The advantage of the tool is you can flare brake lines on the vehicle without taking them out if you have to do a repair. And what she was explaining about the ridges on the brake line is the old fashion way of making flares on the brake lines. Simply it’s a nice tool to have the toolbox if you do a Lotta brake lines
Seems some of the sales people were hung over or something or just didn't want to be there. Owners of these companies need to understand that it's very important to have positive outgoing sales people. Maybe rotate people and allow them to have breaks. Great video and thank you for sharing.
I have attended many conventions but only as a potential customer and didn’t give much thought to the various presentations UNTIL I manned a booth at Oshkosh, the worlds largest aviation event with millions of people attending over a 7 day period. I handed out 5000 business cards… it was brutal! It’s one thing to be constantly on point but there are some absolute jerk’s out there. In a normal setting they would get a knuckle samich but there, you have to smile… I have utmost respect for those manning booths.
Just a few changes from the 15 year old one I have (magnetic end to hold dyes) and this one has alignment pins for the dyes to be perfectly aligned but you really don't need that...mine self centers as you tighten the hold down. Effortlessly makes all sorts of flairs and mine are perfect every time (except when I forget to put the end back on before flaring...lol).
I purchased the "Decked Truck Tool Box" for my F-350 SD in December and love it. I purchased it without the ladder and added my own folding ladder to the tailgate. If anyone is interested, I purchased my Decked tool box through Home Depot and saved $100.00 from the Decked website price. Decked website price is $899 and HD's price is $799. Just a FYI.
@@Harikarikillboy-fs5vl Love it and it works like it should. Waterproof and very hard to break into but as we all know, nothing is impervious to power tools. I installed a folding tailgate ladder instead of using the toolbox one since it does take up room inside the box.
I liked the looks of the toolbox ladder. However, it would be 10x as useful if it would easily pop out and back into the toolbox. Perhaps give one a 2' or 3' stepstool as well as a a 5' or 6' wall ladder. Many of the pickups are big enough that a small stool would be handy to get under the hood.
Hydraulic brake flare tool. Mastercool has had one for years. Looks almost the same except they pinned the fittings and used a magnet. Only differences I saw
Another great video! I am always amazed at the Zombies filming stuff 3 feet away in Portrait mode. The only two things that should be legal to film in portrait is the leaning tower of Pisa and the Eiffel Tower... =D
I LIVE for these vids on your channel. I’ve made my work life so much easier from seeing stuff you cover then buying it. KEEP DOING THESE VIDEOS!!!!!!!
Thank you for this Stan!! Such cool stuff each year. The heated wipers! The gutter lights!! If I had a HD truck, this flip hitch has a lot of potential. And I have NO CLUE what the brake line thing was about. My guess was about flare fittings??
The line flare tool is great because the old tools are a bar that sits perpendicular to the line and uses a screw style flare tool and floating attachments that tend to cause the flare to be angled and not seal.
The team at that booth seemed pretty pissed and passive aggressive. If you cant handle a day of people not understanding what you are talking about you dont want to be working in sales a sema.
Yeah, those flashing brake lights are annoying. Regarding the flare tool, and I think the major points were the speed, not having to hold lots of fiddly parts to hold onto, and that it didn't mark up or crush the sides of the tubing.
Saw your plow video with that boss stand on plow, that things a beast. When I still lived in snow country I used a Honda 4x4 with a cycle country plow for my driveway and did sidewalks for a contractor. Went thru 3-4 cutting edges for it and it only last 2 seasons before it had to be replaced. That boss system would’ve been awesome. Had to add that those lights are pretty badass, can see them coming in handy.
I love seeing all of these new tools! As i have said before, i would love to attend this and equip, at least once! Hope you are doing fantastic! Looking like we will see some of the white stuff this Wednesday!
The one that stood out for me was the tailgate extender I thought was really cool . The problem was if you load a dirt bike, the back tire would be on top of everything needed to unload it.

The Bundutec Roof top tent. I've just bought one here in Australia & can't wait to use it! Yep! that's a brake line flaring tool, much better design than the usual ones & being hydraulic, it would take much less effort.

The more weight you have further out from your shorter wheel base becomes exponential, meaning 650 lbs is now dynamically more than 650 lbs, placing more strain on your suspension system than you think.
The tool the lady was making a flared brake line for when your brake line gets messed up or cracked, but brake lines and transmission lines have to have a double flare to seals under the high pressures of brake systems and the tool is a nice easy way to do the job correctly!
it's a hydraulic double flare tool, makes brake line flares and fuel line flares... Good tool to Have, I got decent with it when I was running older trucks.. keep some nickel/copper line in stock and you can make new lines right in your driveway
Would you explain to me the double flare? I know flaring tools from HVAC for copper refrigerant lines but am very confused on why this is super cool and want to know what that double flare part is. This tool just looks really big to use underneath a car or truck?
4:50 me this morning when windshield is frozen from both sides and wipers iced to the car. I put on wipers and motor rips itself from the wiper and only the metal bar going front and back and wiper still frozen on glass xD
Looks liked a flailing tool sounds like you can use the tool with the lines on the vehicle. She was also trying to show how quick a person could flair a line.
That hydraulic flare tool looks to be better tool than master cool old design. Think about this you could be plowing I winter with your truck blow a transmission line, brake line , fuel line , or what ever special line that that kit can make and all you need a roll of tube to feed from point a to point b and be back running in couple of minutes. Or you can make what ever line you want on your vehicle on the spot.
Just a brake line flaring tool. One of the more expensive styles. Don't really see the point of the pump for the fuel can. But it's good to see people inventing new things regardless.
Easier wayvto flsre brake & fuel lines. I dont replsce enough of either to invest, they are nice for sure, but Ive been double flaring & bubble flaring by hsnd for 35 years & besides the occassionsl flare before the fitting 😮😅 its not hard or time consuming fir me as Ive mastered it as far as Im concerned. But still a nice tool, if you need it.
The tailgate looks cool! Did some research and it's still expensive af if you want all the bells and whistles! But hey after all it's just a tailgate right? ;)
The brake line flaring tool was a knock off of mastercool. When the mastercool one came out it was defently life changing. Maybe. They made a few improvements to it. That last hitch lock is pretty amazing, that way you can sink a hitch post into a bed or trailer where it would be hard to access the pin underneath.
..... I have one of those hydraulic line flare kits.. I primarily use them for making brake lines, but the kit I have will do hoses to steel fittings as well (crimp and flare) .... I paid out the ass for it, but between the time it’s saved, and the money it’s made, it was a great investment for me.. It totally cut down on wasted product from people who have no business being around a tool like that from wasting all my expensive stock,lol... again, this has been a great tool for me... if you do this type of work even on a semi regular basis, I would highly recommend investing in the complete kit like I did.. Sure, the initial impact hurt, but not for long... Like my doctor says, “Ok, You’re gonna feel a small pinch.”.....😎...

But still a nice tool, if you need it.
The tailgate looks cool! Did some research and it's still expensive af if you want all the bells and whistles! But hey after all it's just a tailgate right? ;)
I ordered the impulse braking bar immediately for my wife's car lol $50 on Amazon
Not sure how good his heated wipers are but I've been running thermalblades in Minnesota for 9 years on my semi.
The only thing in that Decked tool box is the stupid ladder that folds out and blocks the step on the side of the bed... LOL.
those gutter lights what keeps them from blowing out of your gutter
