I work as a maintenence technician for apartments and I can truthfully say that those twin grips from knipex are one of the best engineered pliers I have ever used, second only to the knipex pliers wrench
same I work on aircraft and stuck screws are so common its ridiculous these things are the best pliers i have ever used. and i use them for almost every thing.
Left handed drill bits are a game changer when the fastener is broken below the surface. Use a good center punch to stop them from wandering. We need another video from the show Stan! Thanks!
I'm a mobile mechanic now specializing in oilfield repair. I've owned the bolt buster for years. It's an awesome tool. Keeps me from pulling out my torch, getting a hot work permit or a fire watch. Also really handy in automotive to heat up bolts and nuts and not having to worry about damaging anything around
Ah. I see three I use already - the Knipex Twin Grip pliers, Cobra, and Pliers Wrench. I've only used the Twin Grip a few times since I bought them but they were in situations where I had rounded fasteners that were rusted on top of that. Pliers Wrench works awesome on indoor plumbing connections. They don't mar up metal finishes. And the Cobra's are legendary! Got a few sizes of those. Knipex cost more but they indeed are worth it.
If only you could get established affiliate links with every single tool or machine you show lol I've literally bought a snow plow and lawnmower just because of your videos plus all of the little gadgets and tools you've shown over the years lol and I can honestly say I've been very happy with every purchase
I love Knipex pliers, I need the locking hose clamp pliers. Left hand bits have worked for me. Bought from Snap-on years ago but this had a nice twist.
Thanks Stan, Thank you for all of the great videos. Merry Christmas from our house to your house, as we celebrate the single greatest event in all human history. May the full meaning of Shalom bless you and your family in the coming year. Shalom/gw P.S. by all means: Bring it on! :-))
I'm a maintenance planner at a solid surface manufacturing company and will definitely look into buying some of these tools for my mechanics. Looking forward to a follow up video
@@KA-om9oz short answer is, maintenance planners estimate labor hours, parts required and give details on conducting repairs on equipment. We also order tools required for such jobs.
I wasn't too surprised to see that the knipex tools were German made, loved those tools especially that grinder/cut off wheel, went to the company website and was blown away with the price, That was a great how, liked it a lot, Thanks Stan
Darren with MillnerTools has by far the coolest products. Home Depot and Lowes need to sell those blades, they are amazing. Same with the left hand drills.
I have a big set of the Knipex cobras. Honestly can't even stand standard channel locks after using them. They're my go to for everything you can't get a socket on. They work great on oil filters too after you cut them in half pounding screwdrivers through them and turning it then the screwdriver rips the filter. They don't bite in as well and do the auto locking thing on harder stuff but if you need to unscrew some natural gas pipe they'll do about as good as a pipe wrench of similar length and you could probably bite them in and put a cheater on the handle if need be.
Gotta call out the millwakie spark plug socket. Pittsburg sells locking socket extensions and koken sells spark plug sockets with a built in extension.
Stanley. I own a virility of different Knipex tools. They are a little expensive but they are great tools in my opinion. You will never need another set of pliers.
Maybe I just have really bad luck but I can’t think of a single time I’ve had left handed drill bits work for me as shown. I live in the rust belt and every single time I’ve got a fastener broken off that I need to drill it’s always broken because the threads are jammed. Wether is corrosion, cross thread, or galling, doesn’t matter a left handed bit on its own won’t help in that scenario. Still I use them just in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, one day I’ll get lucky enough to drill a fastener that the bit actually will extract on its own.
I work as a maintenence technician for apartments and I can truthfully say that those twin grips from knipex are one of the best engineered pliers I have ever used, second only to the knipex pliers wrench
I agree. I have them with the fatter handles and swear by them.
I am in love with my twin grips. total game changer.

@@BBChEvY859 lifetime warranty probably. We have one like that, it was a different company but it has had a horrible life and still works
I had to pause the video to look up Millner Tools. That cut off wheel eats! The drills are nice as well.
Re-Grip for the WIN! That has universal applications across all brands, and even boutique smithy projects.
Bring it on, Stan!

Many of them were wicked ideas. Except the bone creeper. They need wider rolling casters so they do not fall into the grating of your shop
